My mate Terry runs the MW200 and says often he would be bored to death if it weren't for his Open University course work he does during his shift. All he does is load the blanks, load the program and presses go - at the end of his shift he unloads the finished bits.

It is reliable unmanned non stop processing & turning centres like these which will put me out of a job. Our company has an MW200 Muratec, it makes brake components for automotive - Volvo and Ford I think, its in a different part of the shop. The process is completely one hit and very accurate and it never stops. Double gantrys as well.

I spend most of my day going from machine(13 of them) to machine correcting loader problems. grease, dirt and material in Real life doesn't run this smooth.
