I think not, Stinkittodaman. It would have been different had the hyena not been alone, but by itself the hyena would for good reasons be very reluctant to pick a real fight with a leopard. Like shown in this movie.

@CalvadosKid I agree. There's a video of a male leopard killing an adult hyena and stealing its kill on youtube and if I'm not mistaken, male leopards are the only big cat after lions that have or are capable of attacking and killing solitary hyenas.

still the fact remains - spotted hyenas can almost always take a leopards kill and the leopard cant do anything about it.
