I found ur video easy and funny! u dint make me bored like those other videos did! :)

thanks for making my mobile productive! :D

  • need help

on my X1 i had WM 1.6 and i just put Energy rom

didnt i have do delete something before i instal that rom?

  • @showtimeoooo you had to Hard SPL first... shouldn't have been able to flash the ROM without, so I hope you did that

  • @kawapen2 i did Hard SPL then i put some ENERGY rom and i sooooooooooooooooooooo slow, i cant do anything how slow it is

so, shouldnt i first delete something before puting that ENERGY rom?

how i can bac to wm 6.1 look cos this is really slow

  • @showtimeoooo They always work just fine for me, did you use Task29 first before installing the ROM? That might help, otherwise just look for a different ROM to flash. Try different things.

  • does it have to be in application data in the sd card ?

  • @H1PH0PeArLy Nope, just in the root menu

  • @kawapen2 how do u get to the root menu ?

  • @H1PH0PeArLy It's the very first section of the memory card. Not in any other folders.

  • Thank you very much for this man!

  • where can i get the stock ROM?

  • @bignosedflower Read the description and the links within, please

  • @bignosedflower Read the description and the links within, please

  • hey i was wondering, do the panels, and the other hard buttons still work?, and would i now install apps that run on windows 6.5? and could i use the link you provided for the rom install it and not use htc sense? :) great video

  • @Mistrymane the panels button still functions, hardware buttons still do what they're supposed to, 6.5 apps are installed as .cab files from the SD card (installed to the phone preferably), and through the link you can install any of NRGs ROMs. All of the Sense ROMs have Titanium built in, so just go to Settings>Today>Items, uncheck HTC Sense and check Windows Default.

Or just install the Titanium specific ROM. Or search for "Christian's ROM" on the XDA forums, it's much faster.

  • @kawapen2 Thanks! the only thing im confused about is the link you provided for the NRGZ28's ROM (look through the first four posts) i click on this link and are these roms? like the touch of glass,ElCondor's "GTX" ect.. could you provide me the direct link to download the ROM you intalled? thanks, also if you PM me ill give you my email and you could email it to me. Thanks! :)Also in your video did you show how to flash hard spl? and where can i get it great video though

  • @Mistrymane Do this. Type in the hotfile web address, and after that add /list/980523/2b3e1e2. That will take you to the listing, and from there I would look through the ROMs that have the words "cookie.2.0" in them.

  • i have a question for you guys, i have put a few custom roms on my xperia now and i have noticed it has changed things such as to put my phone into boot loader i have to hold the camera button instead of the volume button. and also no matter what rom i put on my xperia when i slide the phone open it rotates then returns the home screen!. i would appreciate any help or a link to a download for the stock rom

  • @jmoz360 That's... not supposed to happen. You either have downloaded ROMs that have reconfigured the hardware buttons, or accidentally changed them yourself. The rotation shouldn't be like that though, no matter what... the link to the stock rom and stock SPL is in the description, so make sure to read very carefully and do things in the right order

  • @kawapen2 so what should i do now try to install the stock rom, or is it possibly a hardware fault? also which link is for the stock rom?

  • @jmoz360 there is a link containing the Hard-SPL, which also has links in it to the stock SPL and stock ROM. Please read through them to find what you need and need to do.

  • hey buddy! wel iv got the x1i with wm6.1 n running spb 3.5 which i knw may b a bit lame...jus wanted to say tht ur video was kinda interestin n fun to watch. only wish i cud try this at home but not sure if it would wrk on my mobile coz im uing a vodaone locked piece n worried if i wud mess it up orever???

  • @skazitube Thanks :D This doesn't mess with your carrier or locked status; just the ROM of the phone itself. Shouldn't cause any problems!

  • @jmoz360 and you're sure you're holding down the power+Vol Down buttons throughout boot?

  • can u help me out about this coz mine pops

    KOVS110

    SPL-0.78.0000

    microP1-787

    mcroP2-707

the different is @ word SPL-78.000

pls sir can u tell me what to do first and by the way my x1 is 6.1 T_T WM not 6.5 PM me sir... pls pls pls

  • @jeffrichardbacaro I think the video was pretty self-explanatory, myself. If you watch it, it tells you what to do if your screen says something like that. Namely, to click the links in the description for Hard-SPL. Once you've finished that process, which is very simple, you can flash a WM6.5 ROM of your choice.

  • Hello, sorry for my bad english.

I have some questions for you if you be so caid to answer.

I bought my x1 second hand, amd at the bootloader mine's has the word OliNex, that means that in 100% safe to go ahead and flash the ROM?

And I have now the original WM 6.1 rom on it, can I flash directly to the energy ...sense2.5, or I have to upgreade to WM6.5 first?

How is the battery life with this ROM and the memory use. Thanks.

  • @benassy69 If yours says Olinex, then you're good to go.. Place the kovsimg.nbh in the root folder of your memory card, enter the bootloader, and follow the single step. If the ROM is 6.5, it will upgrade for you.

With the newest ROM and a battery that is almost two years old, after heavy text usage throughout the day I have about 50-60% battery left at the end of my night. Memory at about 70-80% by then, with the Dinik Glass ROM. Just keep in mind different ROMs have different results!

  • @kawapen2 Thanks mate. I've done it. I flashed the Standard energy ROM and it's great, although the battery is draining faster that at WM6.1 and is constantly connecting to GPRS. I think I have to play a little more with the setings. Take care!

  • @benassy69 congrats! And yes, most 6.5 ROMs will drain your battery faster, especially if they use HTC's Sense UI. If you want something more stable and fast, I'd suggest looking at gtrab's Barebones Titanium ROM; I used that for a very long time, and am extremely happy with it. It's not as flashy or useful because it doesn't use Sense, but there's plenty of plug-ins you can play with for it.

  • hi ok my screen said olinex but what if i want to install the original firmware?

how do i install it and where do i downloade it? nice video thanks ill be waiting for your answer

  • @exklimexklim The links in the description bar will take you to the exact process and downloads, just read up on it before you do anything

  • No idea what this video is about. But it's not about flashing in public.

  • @soldier4670 XD It's definitely not about model kits. It's my other hobby, sort of like my "other" wife, that no one gets to see XD
