Awe I must have just missed you guys.. I was on the road bicycling in 09 also. I rode to all four corners of the contiguous US. Boston to Seattle to L.A. to the Florida Panhandle and back to Boston. 210 days on the road 11,000 miles. left may 1st, got home just in time for turkey dinner. I plan on ridding across again next year. 2012.. you should do it again. get back to me.
I don't normally post messages on the internet but I felt that I had to just say fantastic video Blake. It was so good in fact that I'm not embarrassed to say that you made a grown man well up with tears! My girlfriend and I actually finished our TransAm in Florence barely 8 days before you arrived. Thank you for bringing back a flood of memories with this video.
Cool video, I see you got the cows running, as I did. Rode across the USA in 2007 and plan to do it again this summer, 2011. I recommend it to ANYONE. I'm going to be 62 years old.
Congratulations on your fantastic accomplishment, and thank you so much for sharing it with us. Your video captures the essence of bicycle touring, which I am just beginning to discover myself. One day, I will find a way to make this trip; thank you for the inspiration. Blue skies to you.
Aloha Blake, Great video. I did the Trans America this past summer with my friend Lisa. I recalled almost all of your footage. I wanted to take video myself, but sent the camera home after realizing I had too much stuff. Thanks for the memories.
Blake: What a terrific video! Proud to say that you are one of our history graduates. Your trek across the country is an amazing accomplishment and one that you have powerfully evoked in this montage.

Many thanks for the fine, fine video. Brings back fond memories of our ride from Reedsport, Oregon, to Yorktown, Virginia in 1976.

I am trying to clear some time this summer for a big ride - I live in Denver, and I'm thinking about the TransAm - your video is quite inspirational!
