I started on a similar machine, I can tell you that's a pretty bad shot. I didn't think those new Bodum grinders were espresso capable and have yet to be shown that they are. Common knowledge is that electronic espresso-capable grinders run about $400 at the bottom end, and hand mills that are espresso capable run about $100. Cheaper burr grinders like this one are great for drip but perhaps not for espresso.
@renix This is a pressurized machine and therefore does not need as high end of a grinder. Please see the video that this is a response to for more information about the grinder.
@Gangway1111 Well, it still needs a correct grind, nothing will change that. Pressurized PFs will make fake crema. I modified my old PF to depressurize it so that I could actually see what I was doing. Once done, I made 1/2 way espresso, but never got to the real thing. I was using a hand mill capable of espresso grind.
