So beautiful, the song the imagry, the thought of two men sharing love. OMG. Thank you Daryl for sending me this link. The heart holds such amazing power to bring people together, and yet make us all sink to our knees should we lose our connections with each other. So it is true, even for gay men, love is a many splendored thing!
At last this beautiful song has reached me via a friend who, strange as it seams, does NOT really like Rufus Wainwright?!?! The he sent me the link to this song, which he actually likes a lot... Maybe it's Matt himself, (and the beautifully shot video) that convinced not only him, me too... and yes I am a long time Rufus fan! ;-))
I think people read to much into this guys work. Big deal hes gay hes got a nice voice and makes good music . Got his CD for almost nothing so i guess hes not in it for the money. Good luck
Is it so hard to believe that some singers sounds alike? Michael Buble sounds like Frank Sinatra...Rufus channels Judy Garland....but so what? It's all great music!
Matt Alber is wonderful, and this song is beautiful, one of the most haunting melodies I have heard in a long time. Bravo Matt, you've a home run..........
I must disagree with mongoose7x. Achingly beautiful melody. I am an immediate fan of Matt Alber. The rest of his CD is good, but this song speaks to me.

Gee, if he were so classically trained you'd think he'd stop copying rufus wainright. But in any guess, I guess you gotta give the guy credit for having good taste, even if he utterly lacks originality.
How's your creative output there mongoose7x? Sounds like you might have a little shadow artist thing going on. How about releasing some of your original work to the world. We're waiting.
Uh, seriously - Rufus is in a totally different class. Matt is a classically trained voice who doubles as a jazz singer. Rufus is Pop - Folk. They don't even use the same vocal muscles to produce sound. Check yer hearing aid there gramaw.

Yes, nice voice, but many people are trying really hard (insert Christian fundamentalists) to make sure it's the end of the world.

Corny as hell. And the guy is seriously cloning Rufus Wainright which is just freakin annoying.
