  • Ahhh.... nothing like a good indian lodge sweat house....

  • This looks like soft tyvek. I've tried to use the "hard" tyvek...used as house wrap during construction..to make tents and it's very noisy in the wind. Is your tent loud? In any case: Great Job!! I'm impressed.

  • 675g. Thanks!

  • Very nice job! How much does the system weigh without including the weight of trekking poles?

  • Take a piece of Tyvek and leave it outside for a year or two. Come back and tell me what you think , when it tears as easily as paper.

  • @hrwulf The same thing happens to nylon if subjected to a year of constant uv radiation. Most retail gear won't last with half a year of constant use. I would consider it a fluke of chance of something lasted a year that way.

  • Junichi, did you sew that or did you use glue? I tried sewing Tyvek...very hard to sew.

  • I sewed it with a sewing machine for business use

  • Thak you godoter!

The form imitated Gossamer Gear The One

  • Yes it's design reminded me not of Henry's sublite but GG The-One and sixmoonsdesign's refuge-x. This shows ultra lite camping does not have to be expensive.

I bet with a ziplock bag it compresses much smaller.

  • Bravo. Looks great, more spacious than Shire's "sublie". Can we see more? Also how small it packs?

  • I saw the photos on your blog. Very nice.
