It's a Virtual Machine, meaning it's running on top of another OS, which means it has to manage the resources between them both, whilst recording the screen at the same time.

Er...this may sound like a stupid question, but how to you make the size of the screen that shows Windows into full screen or at least larger??? on my computer, when I am running parallels, the Windows screen is small...sry if this is an obvious question, but I just switched to a Mac from a PC

@Th0ink check on "hide dock" that will let your screen goes free-dock when you dont need it

if you need to browse ur dock again all what you hav yo do is to point your mouse to the very bottom of the screen n the dock will pop up back :)

I never touched a mac before, but I used VMWare, VirtualPC, and VirtualBox. In the settingts of the virtual machine, set the Network to NAT.

Since you already have Spaces, it is more convenient to have parallels run in Full screen mode. This way, you will have a space dedicated for windows programs. Before leopard, I usually autohide that windows taskbar. It;s just ugly.
