thanks for the video.the fork of my isuzu rodeo 98 is loose so i guess the release bearing must to came off.so i have to take the transmission off to fix it but i going to put a new clutch wile the trans.is out.and the clutch slave cylinder is leaking oil so i going to replace it too.but i 'll like to know how to adjust the master cylinder,to the correct pressure
@ackpelon We have a video for import adjustable master cylinders and it offers the basic setup. A factory service manual will have exact setup procedures. Biggest issues getting the air out and this is critical, the system must not exert any hydraulic pressure when you foot is off of the pedal. Many times the pushrod is adjusted longer in an attempt to overcome an air bubble and get release, need to get rid of the air, then adjust for correct stroke. Gary

@branjispad Sorry you had difficulty with the factory technique. The 1st time I did it I didn't get it, wasted an afternoon only finding out what didn't work. One comment, if you insert the tool in the wrong spot, it only wedges it tighter. The tool must go between the bearing and the retaining ring, not the retaining ring and the diaphragm spring. The video of disconning the bearing was real time, sorry we didn't have a spy cam to see it better with. Gary
i spent 3hrs trying to get the bearing out even with the instructions on here and the service manual. the easiest way by far is to shine a light through the bottom hole and use a long pick to grab the cotter pin from the top of the pin through the fork. then take a pry bar again with the top hole and wedge it against the top of the pin and use the top of the opening as a fulcrum to push the pin down flush with the opening. finally grab some long 45 degree angled pliers and reach through the...

when we replaced the cluch in my trooper we couldnt find a screw driver the right side so we ended up cutting a spanner in half and grinding the end into a spade kinda of shape and it only took one go to release the bearing, just a useful tip i would like to share
Some aftermarket companies don't do a great job manufacturing these type clutch sets. I've found some tips to improve success here. Check out my video on the Isuzu Rodeo Clutch.
