DALE - you are my hero!! I have been following you for quite a while now. I told my husband years ago I wanted a wind powered car... he and his family laughed at me... MY POINT.. a stay at home mom can envision this and even have drawings of it .. why didn't the billions of dollars spent on new technology by U.S. and other governments develop this many years ago..... I am not a scientist.. just a stay at home mom... I am waiting for your car to come on the market. I WILL HAVE ONE...

The concept of a wind powered car only seems plausible if they used a wind turbine in the car and that is possible. There is a company called Flodesign; an aerospace company, that has created a turbine that is much smaller than present designs and is much more efficient. If you took this design and shrunk it down to fit in a car, I'm sure it could generate enough power. But this all theory. A small wind turbine in a car could be the future.
