actually, if anyone watched the bbc episode of cloud. they captured cloud and his family. but they let cloud go because of his highly rare coat. so if cloud is on a wild horse reserve (which i think he is but not really sure) he could have a health problem. and they dont euthanize wild horses. they put them up for private auctions.

while i do agree with the moratorium that should be placed on the roundups, you are certainly ill informed. The horses aren't "euthanized", they are illegally shipped to auctions by being labeled as "astray" horses by BLM. And Cloud and members of his herd are now protected by Ginger Kathrens and CAN NOT by any means end up adopted or otherwise removed from their homelands.

I'm not sure if any of you are aware, but these horses are not native, and are technically pests. However, in controlled numbers they shouldn't pose a threat to the environment? I agree that euthanasia seems like a very drastic and ill-advised option, especially given the exposure that these horses have had to the public. They would not be difficult to place in a sanctuary. Of course not all could be saved, but surely not all need to perish?

while i do agree with the moratorium that should be placed on the roundups, you are certainly ill informed. The horses aren't "euthanized", they are illegally shipped to auctions by being labeled as "astray" horses by BLM. And Cloud and members of his herd are now protected by Ginger Kathrens and CAN NOT by any means end up adopted or otherwise removed from their homelands.

I'm not sure if any of you are aware, but these horses are not native, and are technically pests. However, in controlled numbers they shouldn't pose a threat to the environment? I agree that euthanasia seems like a very drastic and ill-advised option, especially given the exposure that these horses have had to the public. They would not be difficult to place in a sanctuary. Of course not all could be saved, but surely not all need to perish?

That is so stupid. They should just leave the horses alone. Humans are coming into there territory and why should they have to pay for it. They should at least capture some of the horses and adopt them out, it wouldn't be the same as being wild but at least the will be alive. People all over would love to have a horse from Clouds band. The could also relocate some of the horses maybe to reserves or something along those lines, but to kill horses because they are in the way of the ranchers,wrong!

i am really upset with BLM, they disqust me , it is man that can be distructive and they were on that land to begin with so they deserve to stay there and live.. the lady that filmed the documentry worked her heart out for these wild mustangs....and all that hard work for what...Its not Fair and its cruel that blm want to kill these horses.
