  • I didn't know the classes were open to all students, I might have take a leadership course through them if I had known that.

  • @RavenBlaze im pretty sure you have to be accepted into it

  • @laxdefender95 The classes anyone can get into. If you want the scholarship, you need to be selected. I just signed up for AFROTC today

  • I get to start ROTC in 2 weeks at Louisiana Tech. Im pretty exited about it!

  • How many cadets are enrolled in this program? and how many pilot slots are given? are there less enrolled/slots at BGSU than Kent and OU?

  • You said you are planning on joining next year when you are in high school.

  • You mean college. After you go through ROTC you will be commissioned as an officer in the Air force. They obviously don't do that in High School.

  • what grade did you get on this project? Why isn't the talent mic'ed? That would have eliminated the echo, although your voice wouldn't have been heard though you could mic yourself as well. Just curious--I recently made a video for BG ROTC this Spring for a TCOM project.

  • Very cool, i'll be happy in the air or on the ground. Yeah I used to be dead set on AFROTC but now heavily considering Army ROTC also... choices choices choices

  • Hi.. does BGSU give a lot of pilot slots

  • Hello, ROTC doesnt give a slect number of slots per campus. basically depending on how well you do in school, at leadership courses, cadet events, military training etc etc puts you in a standing amongst all other ROTC cadets. from that standing you either get your first choice, 2nd, 3rd 4th choices in which job tracj you want to go into. The higher ranked you are, the sooner you get to choose. and hopefully that slot will still be open

  • are u trying to get one

  • I ask myself that everyday. I was a diehard IM GANNA FLY JETS kinda guy...now i'm considering helos with the army and coast gaurd or other fixed wing aircraft in air force, army, or cg. In addition to flying i'm also starting to consider Army ROTC instead of Air Force ROTC incase i wanna do some dirty work(tanks, combat engineer, etc etc).... honestly i dont know how to choose cuz i love all of it. So we'll see we're God places me. I'm guessing you're shooting for a slot someday?

  • yea man, but not jets, just anything with wings that dont move

its cool that youre considering RW, its just i dont want to lose my high-frequency hearing and dont want to be ferrying people to oil rigs when im 40

    are you in HS

  • No, jets, theres a rare response lol. totally respect that, so stuff like c-130s then? and i'm not to worried about my hearing, i figure live hard die young then be boring and end up on my saggy butt in a retirement home having done nothing. and if i do go for helos i'd try and fly for police department or careflight. Even if its to oil rigs, flying is flying right? lol. and yep i'm in high school. hbu?

  • well i meant anything fixed wing so including jets, turboprops, etc

my goal would be something high alt like SR71 or U2

sophomore in HS im going to be doing AFROTC

  • ya i want to fly c-130s

  • I am currently in BGSU AFROTC currently and for their size they get a lot of pilot slots. They continually earn and excellent rating for their program. I think OSU AFROTC program is about triple the size of BGSU's but they have about the same amount of pilots slots given

  • hey, thats great. i want to go to BHSU or u of akron but i live in new york so its kinda far :(

  • i meant to say BGSU, sorry

  • Falcon football fule, rotc kicks major butt too...I love BG Gangstas...Holla at ya boy. Eat some Pisanellos pizza and let this video rock yer face. Wooster street gangstas word!!!

  • Ill be an AS100 this fall and I really enjoyed this vdeo, Thank you!
