The F-117, AV-8B, and the F-18 all fused, in equal parts, together into a single airframe! I think to many people forget this point. It's a spectacular aeronautical achievement. Next thing you know LM will figure out how to make a bomber hover.

There are two fans. One in a normal position (but has a thrust vectoring nozzle) and one mounted in the fuse in an upright position.

Looks extremely fragile. I'm pretty sure it has a low survival rate when a couple AP AK rounds rip through it.

this looks like it costs alot more money on fuel to land this way copared to normal landing

@aescobar32 It might do, but it is a hell lot easier doing a VTOL/STOVL when you have small space to land at, or have to hover when you attack the enemy.
