In his demo "uei" means up so he wants you do skip upwards and come down with the same hand and feet motion. Hes saying that the hand goes down with the feet oposed to a "lifting" motion.
Thats all I got its been awhile since Ive spoken Japanese.
theres a point when your shifting your weight from one foot to another, just as that transition is happening, this techinque will trip them and before they now it they're on the ground. love it
