I actually love Big Brother but it would've been a better "B" side. Does anyone know if this is available in stereo on an LP or CD? I've heard "Big Brother" in stereo before but never this....
@ronreagan12 This side doesn't exist in stereo. It was not on the LP (Big Brother, however, was). Whether or not a master tape still exists, I have no idea.
I have a copy of this courtesy of my father (he's almost 73). It's arguably the greatest flipside of all time, right up there with The Velvet Underground & Nico's 'Femme Fatale'. In fact, this number would have fit in quite well on The Velvets' first album. The lead guitar break sounds a helluva lot like Sterling Morrison, and I can imagine Lou Reed singing those lyrics. It's not a far cry from 'There She Goes Again'. Great track.
wonder why it was never a big hit....it sure deserved it...thanks a lot!!!!! if you happen to have Dreamy Nights please post it thanks!!!! keep the doo wops alive
It was never a hit because the stupid record company stuck it on the B side of a horrible record!!! Stupid them!! I do not have Dreamy Nights, unfortunately...
wold you have A KINGDOM I CALL HOME. thanks

First time I've heard this, it's a great tune. It definitely would have been a big hit if it were given a chance. Thanks for sharing it.

Listening to thnis tune for the first time and this is a year before the British invasion that would change popular music forever.
