I live right next to Bolsa, Huntington, Seal, and Sunset and whenever I go to the beach I always see the wetlands, its really quite beautiful. I hope it can be preserved for years to come.

I really liked the way this piece captured the emotional feel we have for this special place while presenting the facts. The Bolsa Chica deserves our preservation. I hope others are moved to help too.

Thank your efforts. I have always been alocal and have seen every change that went on as a trail hiker and cyclist early mornings. I had many opportunities to also see a great restorative effort. So many are joining in a more assertive environmental effort. how many of us loved to rise early with the bird and watch the sun rise. What a bearutiful area Bolsa Chica needs to stay.

The Bolsa Chica Land Trust won the landmark Bolsa Chica Decision in the California appeals court. The court ruled that the Coastal Act does not permit residential development in wetlands nor destruction of environmentally sensitive habitat. This ruling PROTECTS COASTAL WETLANDS all over California. This legal victory by the BCLT stopped the building of more than 2000 houses on Bolsa Chica Mesa!

The video is misleading.

Fact:The largest restoration west of the Mississippi was completed in 2006.

500+ acres were restored using mitigation money from the Long Beach and LA Ports to the tune of $150M+, linking the Bolsa Chica wetlands to the ocean.

Fact:The Amigos de Bolsa Chica led the fight to save the Bolsa Chica Wetlands.

Interesting video that ignores important facts.

There are lots of great organizations that have helped protect the Bolsa Chica. I won't deny Amigos have done some great work so has the Land Trust. That is not the point here... We are all working for the same goal to help preserve RESTORE the wetlands. This is an intro video our objectives will be more clear in the future and our past success but I can assure you were not taking anyones glory.

Bolsa Chica is such a great area. Amazing to be able to be so close to nature in such an urban area. This video captures so much of what is special. The music works so well with the message. Love the idea of mass donations on Earth Day to help Bolsa Chica! I'm signing up to do so.
