@Well, the background music and the ocarina notes are not completely the same, so maybe that is what you are experiencing. My recommendation is to just play around with it and have fun, improvise a little!

@Ehxidi only beacause on the iphone u can chane the pitch and the sound completely, unlike the original ocarina. but i bet u can figure it out easily!

@Ehxidi smule's ocarina has some "fake" fingerings for playing notes lower than normal ocarina can. You can try playing a ( : : ) fingering instead of the ( ' ' ) one, hth.

I played this over and over again, and now my hands are kinda feeling funny.

I rly like the karaoke play a long style, it inspires me to try somthing similar.

PS I think it sounds better in D(8va) Aeolian then in A.
