Great video. My wife has been bugging me for a year to get a back rest but I don't want a permanent option or hole afterwards. I really like the low cover over the holes when the back rest is off. I've got a 2010 Muscle in Black Deniem. How can I get this complete kit in that color with Muscle printed on the low cover like you had? I just showed my wife your vid, and she said buy it noooooooooowww.

It is compatiable.I bought and used the factory backrest mounting kit,.all my holes are exactly where the harley backrest would be.you could remove your backrest and install this plate with very minor modifications,you would need to take the fender off and drill a 1/2'' access hole in your metal inner fender to access the center mounting nut on your backrest its.very minor if you are mechanically inclined at all. .

Sweet bike. I've got a 2011 White Hot Denim Muscle as well. I like the paint job on the new fender. I can't wait to see the matching airbox cover. Would your mod be compatible with the stock backrest?

I bought universal swept design bags from ebay and disassembled them.I cut them to the dimensions needed for my bike and then tacked them together before taking them to a automotive uphostery shop for resewing.sounds easy but was really a big hassell.

I am not changinging the white,I really like it to but am painting a completely different set of plastics that will be a different color.I will be able to change between the white hot denim and custom plack when I want to.
