  • Thhats What Happens When U Yank On The Regulator lol

  • lovely wheelslip on 60163!

  • Sweet. I was in York on holiday July 2007. Happened to find

    a steamer there..

  • I think the Earl looks better.

  • We definately need a new steam engine in America to bring back our passenger rail service.

  • have you seen the episode? don't care what may says, tornado is the best by 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999... (you get the idea) miles. you can hear the helicopter they used for filming it

  • yeah did see the episode haha, was ok i thoght, didn't show enough of the race i reckon though

  • cant wait to see 60163 on the severn valley later in the year

  • cool top gear should be cool and also i am going to see Tornado at tyesley next month

  • Cracking video - thanks for sharing. Constructive criticism - the titles disappear just a little to quickly.

  • thanks mate, i'll make them longer in the future

  • do you have msn

  • two meny people on the platform

  • They didnt want people to know because of the BBC Filming, but I suppose the few that did know told the people who came to see the 'Earl' that the 'Tornado' was coming and they decided to stick around.

  • some one kick my trypod not happy when i got home seen that done to my video so i may not go york no moor if thay do that to my video

  • oh dear :( shame mine got knocked about abit aswell

  • Great stuff, nice shots of Tornado and the 'Earl' 5*. If you haven't seen the Earl before, Tyseley (home of Vintage Trains) are running some opendays this year the next is the weekend of 27/28th June.

  • thanks mate, yeah i heard about that when i was at York filming the engine, maybe doing a Shakespeare Express this year if i can afford it!

    cheers

  • Good idea, the Shakespeare Express is a nice run. Especially, on the return run after it comes off Hatton Junc. and can open up. If you go to the openday I'll see you there.

  • excelent video there

  • cheers mate

  • good one on your video A++++++++ 100%

  • thanks mate

  • Very nice. I saw 5043 flying out of Nuneaton on the outward trip yesterday. (Check out my vid if you want). And it certainly is magnificent.

  • thanks mate, yeah seen you're video of 5043, nice to see some GWR Power at Speed! cheers

  • so how come I heard that Tornado was supposed to be hauling the royal train????? looked good anyway!

  • dunno there were al sorts of rumours floating around york station yesterday morning, but it was definatly for Top Gear!

  • Glad you had a great day out - enjoyed your video. Well shot.

Even when slipping Tornado looks so smooth - no clanking of rods etc!!! What a fine mahcine.

    *****

  • thanks for the comment, cheers

  • Great video, you had a really great day!!! Torndado departing was great, and the castle looked lovley! 5 stars well done!

  • thanks mate

  • Wish i'd have been at York - a great feast of steam! Fancy Jeremy Clarkson on Tornado, I would have thought it would have been James May's sort of thing? Clarkson probably put on too much POWER when the A1 departed! Earl of Mount Edgecombe looked great on North Eastern metals. Great Videos 5*

  • thanks mate, my thoughts exactly on clarkson and tornado LOL! i was shocked when i saw him in the cab after they had stoped, i was expecting to see may or hammond in the coaches lol, cheers

  • I'd heard rumors floating about on a blog site (can't remember which one!) about Tornado doing a special railtour that no-one knew why or what was going on because apparently the organises didn't want to make public - big lol because most of the world know now!!! Can't wait for the new series of Top Gear now - I hape Tornado won the race or watever it was they were doing (or maybe Clarkson is presenting the new series of Extreme Machines or something!).

  • nah it was definatly a race, i believe james may was in a classic jaguar and richard hammond on a 1940s motorbike, they were only allowed to use the Old A1 (the road not a steam loco hehe)

  • KK, in that case the new series of Top Gear should be very good! Love your videos!

  • Nice! If it was Jeremy Clarkson driving Tornado perhaps he thought she was fitted with a traction control lol.

  • unless he was shouting power and they let him at the controls! lol thanks for comment mate

  • very nice mate i have never been so jealous lol nice shot of tornado departing york i can just tell what jezza was saying POWER! lol also nice shots of 5043 loved the one of her arriving 5 stars mate!

  • cheers jake, i swear i heard power when 60163 set off hehe

  • nice video. 5 stars

  • thanks mate

  • Excellent video Dec, excellent shots of the A1 and the castle, can't wait for the a1 to be on tv, 5*

  • cheers mate

  • Nice video mate. Nice shot of the A1 departing, even if she slipped, then you got the stranger - 5043! No slipping, thats a Western loco for us (bloke at SVR would beg to differ eh mate lol). Nice shot of her arriving. 5*s!

  • Jeremy Clarksons on the footplate josh, what do you expect (the a1 slipping)

  • dont say that!

  • @JBTEvans clarkson is a legend! watch more top gear, you'll see what i'm on about. what about schumi as the stig! it was michaels FXX after all. loved his lap in the liana lol

  • thanks mate

  • its the 25th today by the way
