I hopped off the slave treadmill 6 years ago. Now, the less I own, the happier I am. I'm now seeing that I was a few years ahead of the herd, but they're catching up quickly now. Being poor is cool. No stress, no maintenance. No pride, no vanity. Try it, you'll like it.
A new car costs $17-50K. Maybe there are a lot of people out there that would like to buy a car, but what about personal finances lately? Our new administration is not projecting a warm fuzzy feeling. We all just paid for part of a car we don't even have in our driveway, and we are expected to go into debt to buy another whole car? Will we get hit with a carbon tax? Should we wait to see what the government approves? Will the flip flopping continue? New car? I'll pass, thanks.
