What kinda 4 wheeler are you riding? Looks like a blast. Buying my pass next year for sure. Now if only I can figure out a way to put my 400ex on the roof of my wrangler... Haha
when you get a chance glance @ {unitedtrenches} black guys street balling trying to force their city to build a track/park must see to believe... what a forum topic
Is this the same trail system owned by Reading Anthracite? I'd really like to check this place out. I google mapped Treverton, PA and searched around on Satelite mode. Is this near that generally area around Anthracite road?
I think it was one of the roads I saw on google maps that i saw when i was checking out the satellite images of the trails. My bad tho. It might've been just a misread on my part, or the computers.
@Coalcountryriders Now that I've got some experience in coal country, I've realized what i was calling Anthracite Rd is actually Mile Rd. On google maps it comes up as Anthracite Rd, thats why my dumbass said that lol
Nice vid! I haven't found the boat yet...guys, the secret to navigating up there is generality. Just watch the mountain tops and know where you are at in reference to them. If you stay in the same valley, you can go all day and just go back down the valley. Avoid cresting the mountains and it's pretty hard to get lost. Too many trails to memorize. I use GPS and look at it when I get home for reference too...
3:06 is where my buddy broke his knee, and I think if youwould've kept going straight at 3:52 an stayed on that path, it would've taken you to the old torn down "church" and one of those old mine shafts. If we meet up there again, I think I'll beable to find that old boat along the trail.!
I think when he looked to the right at 10:18 he was looking at that last sharp left turn on that paved road that the big parking lot is off of. I think last road he was on at the end of the video will take you out to the paved road. You cross it and run up along side of the paved road take the dirt road to the right to take you towards the piles. Thinking about heading up tomorow. Nice and in the mid 60's! Not gonna have to many of them days left!
is there aplace to get a map of all the trails? I have been there a few times but mainly hang around coal hill cause i dont want to go get lost. iam going again this weekend. thanks
You pretty much just have to venture around. Ive been going for many years and learned some of the trails. But i can still get lost. Its very large 22000+acres of trails You can go hours on some trails and get real lost. Id just ask some riders you see there,Some of them should be able to show you around. Ill be out till spring or id be glad to show you some trails.
