I was well impressed with how well that diffuser came out and you made it look so easy my friend :-) and it cut out real good just with your box cutter knife, nice one=5*
Cool you liked it!! The basswood is a little tougher to cut than balsa. The secret is to use a new blade and cut with the grain of wood. Thanks for the 5*rating.
You must be a geometrical genious or something to come up with the design for this thing! Or did Paul's engineering degree play a part in this. Either way, the plane is looking good. Can't wait for the test flight. Keep up the good work Bro's.
Thanks Mike!! I would have to give the credit to Paul. He came up with the diffuser plate idea. It was used first on his Nova Jet and Big Black Delta wing. I do like the way it makes the plane look and it should help make it more stable.
that thing is coming together so well! i need to utilize a lot of your techniques in my future builds. it definitely looks very crash resistant and built to last.
Thanks BRANDORC!! I'm thinking it should be as crash worthy as my first Bullet Proof Plane. I Know it will be faster because it will have a more powerful motor!! I'm hoping for triple digits with this one.
i hope it breaks into the triple digits! maybe i'll be able to see this one in person. i doubt i have anything to keep up with yours as far as speed. you guys just fly so dang fast!!!! maybe you can teach me some tricks on better weight management. i try to build them heavier for momentum like you guys say, but it just doesnt seem to work out. can't wait to see the maiden of this one!
It will be cool if you can make it out to fly with us!!! It's a lot more fun with a few planes in the air, especially at these speeds! I also think it helps if you can see with your own eyes how something is done. I'm sure we'd have a lot to talk about.
Awesome!! I plan on getting a lot done over this Memorial weekend so the plane should be ready when you get here. Who knows, if you time it right you might be here for the maiden flight.
i made mine but it broke first thing :P its not good

Sorry to hear that shawnman17. Hope you at least got to fly it a couple times. Make your next plane out of EPP and it won't break easily.
