"- I'm just curious who the next enemy they're gonna conjure out of a completely broke and destitute world... - They won't be white, I guarantee you that!"
"Before I bought a gun, I tried to figure what it is about me that keeps attracting mobs."
That's exactly what I thought the USA would do on 9/11. Boy, was I naive!
And the biggest disappointment was (and still is) to see hundreds of millions of people going with the goverment, thinking that they support the noblest cause, when in fact they support a forcibly expanding dictatorship.
@19189073 True, illuminati/NWO is to accual system what is medieval-creationist Christian worldview is to actual Universe. Fear induced personification
Because only people like you and me and the others here will come looking for stuff like this. if he was on the msm even normal house wives and other people would see him and say..fuck hes right.
This way I supose it keeps those of us who know quiet and all in one place
@19189073, thats why i say people should see this as a opportunity to take advantage of the internet and all the YT channels that(just as well)wouldn't be on YT's home page..
@19189073, so you think Bill Hicks couldn't of got more exposure? If yes... because as a fan I see that his materiel and persona blows whats mainstream out of the water... Then you gotta ask why? Because isn't just all about the money?
I love looking at whats mainstream & whats not and when I find non-mainstream production going far unnoticed and shit like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and the typical reincarnated corporate rapper everywhere I turn... You gotta ask why? (Illuminati)
Well, it's suprising Bill Hicks didn't know the IRA got their shit from two places... Plastic Paddies in Boston and from the Middle East. Further more, I find it even more suprising that he didn't know the IRA had more RPGs, Assault Rifles and C4 than they had ever possessed... a couple years later the peace deal was signed and the war ended.
Bill was naive about the reason and methodology for the kind of testing they were doing, but some of his other points are interesting. No revelations, but interesting. He's a young, somewhat ideaological young man, at this time.
@19189073 See you in the FEMA camp dude. That is if you survive the cancer you are going to contract from going through the naked body scanners at the airports, the unnecessary vaccinations for man made diseases, the xrays and microwaves and all the other deadly radiation we are being bombarded with. Remember the russian dude who was murdered with a tiny bit of plutonium or whatever it was a couple years back?
Cancer is pretty much cancer wherever it occurs in the body. We are being fed chemical laced food, water and everything else on purpose. The international jew bankers who own the world aren't satisfied with that, they want us all dead. Check out their book the talmud. Says we are all animals they can lie to, cheat, steal from and kill without remorse. I say they go first.
People need to start to realize that nobody has a 'right' to own a gun, and not only do people not have a right, they don't have a need either. Nobody needs a gun.
Hicks was first banned from TV because his entire bit became an exposure of the world fascist takeover, bankers, industrialists, etc. He was then assassinated like many others by infecting him with a cancer causing agent that kills very quickly. He didnt die of lung cancer from smoking, he died of pancreatic cancer which is where radioactive substances will collect when fed to you by some means. The guys who own the world truly fear dudes like Bill who open folks eyes and wake them from sleep.
@angstotheclown I'm glad someone else realizes this. Frank Zappa, who was becoming increasingly political, was killed around the same time, by the same mysterious cancer as Hicks.

bill prediction came true 100%. drug lords.are knockingdown the back door as i speak middle east being carpet bomb for past nine years now, and americans middle class is being wiped out right now!!
Such a waste? People keep saying it's a shame he died and couldn't be here now. It would be cool to see what his take on things would be but what he did in his lifetime was more than enough! The views and and opinions he imparted to thousands of people and the minds he helped awaken shall never sleep! Don't rest in peace Bill give em hell!
I just wanted to say to everyone that I too also miss Bill so much and would LOVE to hear what he would say about the state of the world today. However, I want to encourage YOU to be like Bill and take your own stand and speak out!
I love Bill Hicks to the maximum! However, I own a gun. :) But, I keep it locked up and use it for target practice...I don't plan on using it to start a war or anything.
i just dnt agree with how you put this at all, making it seem like its just teenage bs to "reality, wen time and time again his timeless acts have proven true now more than ever..i dont get how you came accross this genius so young and can somehow shun him out???? Did you ever see ne of his real shit like his public access interviews where they actually show our gov burning ppl out of their homes with flamethrowing tankers, only to go on the news and lie to the media about how they used tear gas

By whom are you referring to as "them"? The insurgency in Iraq (if it is Iraq you're referencing) or the Taliban in Afganistan as "them" are Islamist thugs who care just as little for their own co-nationalists and co-religionists as they do you or I. I hope 'we' have caused problems for them, they're worthy of nothing more.
As for the citizens of Iraq and Afg., I hope the seed of democracy can be firmly sowed in spite of said bullies.
If the seeds of democracy do take root, and I hope they do, quite the contrary - it will have the greatest benefit to both 'them' and 'us'.
While I've got no problem with idealism, idealism is always the victim of reality. Sure, it'd be nice if everyone lived in harmony, but it's probably never going to happen. Liberation is most often achieved forcefully, and if 'we' took a Hicks/Lennon pop-culture pacifism approach to diplomacy, it would be a red-letter day for despots the world over.
Oh my so you assume that's where I'm coming from last time I checked a warrior prays for peace but trains for war I am well aware that there are men who kill for their own pleasure and that there are dictators who orchestrate horrific crimes against humanity and I want these men to be stopped as much as you do but I also see the holes in all this stupid bullshit.

The guns you have today, is not going to be used in any revolution.
he is right in a very intricate way but he is also wrong and impractical. That is to say to understand what hes getting at you have to be somewhat enlightened but to expect everyone to be thus enlightened is impractical.
Expecting everyone to reach enlightenment is how we push towards evolution as a species. Why should we remain docile and tell everyone "it's ok to remain in your stupidity and ignorance"... That's the wrong message entirely!
...where ideas are discussed, evolution is discussed and the evolution of ideas is discussed. And we will have on guest who have enlightened us, so we can enlighten the audience - so that the unconscious becomes conscious. That's the premise of the show. Now you tell me if you think you're gonna see it here(laughs off the end of sentence:)"
...which I agree with - but! I don't think it's supposed to be unconscious...
As the Counts of this Netherworld we will be in Victorian (can't identify the word, synonym of 'apartment' I guess), which in my mind's eyes is the center of our collective unconscious, where...
Bill's answer to one of the caller, who was asking about premise of this show (aired only in British TV) and a chance to see it locally:
"Thank you for asking. Now hang with me. The show is called 'Counts of the Netherworld'. The premise of the show is: Carl Jung had a theory that all mankind shares a collective unconscious, which...
hahahahaha!!!chase him down and grab him by his little rat taill!!!classic omitted Letterman routine!!oh,but then we wouldn't have the little Miss Disnazi spawn of that inbred hillbillie!!!yeah, then we wouldn't have a "wholesome" image to show our young ladies how to dress like tacky trailer sluts you would see at Wal-Mart all hours of the day!plus her show teaches kids to lie and be duplicitous with their peers!wholesome?yeah fuckin right!!!down with disney, wally world and the "moral"majority!!
Haha, that's Bill Hicks right there. What year is this guys? And you don't have to be a prophet to do that.. Hehe that's why I can't quit drugs. I dont mind.
Well, Hicks nailed 3 of 3 here. We are destroying the landscape (and economy) of central america with our massive defoliation programs designed to eradicate the drug crops. We're starting our crusade against the Middle East and Islam, which is unwinnable by the way. (they have the numbers and determination to hold us off indefinitely). And the government (state and federal) gave up on Urban American (AkA poor blacks) a long time ago. These aren't left wing propaganda claims, they're facts.
Gah! The time delay makes this un-watchable. I was never convinced by BH's Counts Of The Netherworld idea, and now I've seen a bit of the pilot, I still can't form a proper view on it. Bugger! The bit about nuke testing was funny, but the whole 'I bet they won't be white' thing, whilst circumstantially true, rings hollow after years of abuse by Micheal Moore. If Someone can sync the clip to the sound then I'd be able to form something approaching an opinion.

Well, hang on, perhaps you'd like to elaborate. Or more likely loud abrasive comments are easier for you.
WHY is comparing this to O'Reilley idiotic? It's exactly the same thing; narrow-minded, ignorant, ill-informed rhetoric, preached to teh converted with no intellectual rigour behind any of its structure.
Perhaps you'd like to expand. I'll overlook the insult, as I'm used to it being the go-to tactic for most.
It is idiotic to compare them because first of all the purposes aren't the same. This was a pilot for a sitcom..comedy.
The O'reilly factor on the other hand is an elaborated scheme presented as independent journalism with a "traditionalist agenda" which is always strangely coincidental with that of the republican party and the GOP.
So, while Hicks was trying to make people laugh exposing the inherent absurdism of war, O'reilly is furthering the propaganda of the present administration.
I don't think it's at cross purposes to compare given that the formats are different. Hicks' motivation seemed to be the exact same thing; only to by-policy aggressively oppose every agenda of the GOP, therein revealing his own equally transparent agenda.
Besides, O'Reilley makes me laugh more than Hicks. Not intentionally, mind you.
O'reillys wants to get someone elected. Of course "he's independent and never sides with anyone." That is the point, while O'reilly is peddling a groups agenda that has real immediate consequences, Hicks is questioning the system. He never sided with a politician in his entire lifetime. His only pursuit was that of a comedian. Of course his comedy is impregnated with his own views, but I would hardly say that his comedy had a political agenda in the true sense of the term.
yeah,it is more of total self awareness that he hoped to evoke in his audience, because we're the ones who play along and buy all of the garbage just to exist within this evil Regime Machine we've been born into.accepting this polarized seperation between any faction, religion, governement, race, sex or appearances is just a disease for our greater consciousness that we are all cells of.when people are opposed against each other,it is the equivalent of cancer within this organism, humanity as a whole!
And you are clearly an intellect of towering magnitude. Thank you for deigning to brush me with it. You really do present a wonderfully well-considered case, and so eloquently put also.
You got more to you than petty insults? Elaborate why do u think I'm so stupid and more than that argue your case because you apparently disagree with me.
All you did was pursue your initial statement with loose, commonplace adjectives that would fit anthing. You didn't point out any real similarity in these two things. Ignorant? No intellectual rigor in this? As far as I know the mayority of "intellectuals" that have preceded and suceeded Hicks have all agreed on the principal that war is the pettiest and most ridiculous stage of human existence. Furthermore, as Hicks puts it, it seems even more senseless in this age to pursue militarism.
Well, I agree with this. I hardly think there's too much questioning that war/human conflict isn't a good thing.
But, 'duh'. I hardly see how trotting out this well-worn chestnut is in any way brave, insightful or enlightening. Almost every sane person on the planet accepts this.
Well apparently its a well worn chestnut that has not come across to the very un-sane american politicians. That's the critique. If you watch the spectrum of american television it seems pretty brave insightful and elightening to want to talk about this issues instead of what is commonly on the air.
Narrow-minded? Hicks did mushrooms,yeah....it can't get any more "narrow-minded" than that. Or do you mean something else by "narrow minded". Just let me know.
In conclusion, O'reilly = ignorant, war monger, GOP-suck up, that is feeding americans with government propaganda.
Hicks=man who tried to make people laugh by telling them how ridiculous it is to kill each other and how criminals like Cheney want to keep doing exactly that.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I'm afraid I don't understand the allusion to drugs here. He did drugs, ergo, he wasn't narrow minded. Are you serious?
My assessment comes from an unflinching and predictable stream of anti-authority rhetoric that made up the entirety of his act. It's so easy to just take pot shots at the usual suspects, which is precisely what Hicks did.
No real understanding of the issues, just loud sloganeering. Just like O'Reilley.
Accepting classic doctrine without questioning it. That is the common wisdom about what narrow mindedness means, isn't it? I don't think hallucinatory drugs equate to narrow-mindedness. They expand your appreciation of reality and therefore your questioning of anything you thought was true.
Predictable? Hicks had to think of delivery and execution. It came across as simple because he could not delve into a complex political on stage-foray, he had to make the crowd laugh. So while O'reillys rhetoric is the epitome of his tought process, Hicks simple punch-line is a dressed down comedic version of his own system of beliefs, which was to my understanding much more complex than O'reillys. That is why people like you and me find O'reilly so involuntarily humorous.
The 2nd Amendment was never written for sport, hunting or to protect us from "mobs". It was written primarily to protect us from tyrannical government. In 50's America guns could be bought in gas stations yet crime was almost nonexistent. That was when America was still America. That was before the global elite corrupted America and made it violent with psychological programs and engineered shootings. Everyone MUST read my myspace blog on gun control the link is on my channel.
I think the next enemy was Miloshevic (Yugoslavian/Serbian president). You lost the bet, last time I checked he was white. Nice to know they don't discriminate when it comes to killing.
Did we invade Serbia? Did the United States took any direct action against Serbia? No , the UN did. United States Directly financed the colombian''drug on war''just like they directly attack Iraq.He was so right you can't believe it .
I agree. It's always nice to find new material from someone as impacting as Hicks. He's known for his comedy. So to those unfamiliar with Hicks this may not seem very entertaining. But for fans, like me, who learned of, and thoroughly enjoyed, his comedy post-humously it's a treat to see him in a conversation-type setting. According to Wikipedia, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had already had chemo treatments before he began working on this.

With that, it could be said that Hicks knew he may not have much time left, and it was a very endearing idea to let his fans in on a more serious side of himself. All ratings of this video are irrelevant. This video is just another peak into a man's life who lived well and without fear. Not everything he said was supposed to be bullet-proof arguments.
His forte was taking a subject one assumed to be taboo and explaining it in a light that took a lot of the stigma away. Like having a word at the tip of your tongue, but you can't get it out, Hicks was capable of doing the equivalent of that, but with ideas at the tip one's conscious. Hicks = very refreshing, very missed.

diogeneslaertius666 3 years ago
Expecting everyone to reach enlightenment is how we push towards evolution as a species. Why should we remain docile and tell everyone "it's ok to remain in your stupidity and ignorance"... That's the wrong message entirely!

Just read PRELUDE TO TERROR by Joseph Trento .
The Bush /Clinton, CIA, Drug cabal has been in power for decades!
They created Al CIAda They were behind all of the "coincidental" anomalies that occured on 9/11 .
They ( and only they) had the MEANS, the MOTIVE and the OPPORTUNITY to implement the NEW WORLD ORDER .
How do you like it so far?
z8it 4 years ago 2

I'll overlook the insult, as I'm used to it being the go-to tactic for most.
mymentor 4 years ago
It is idiotic to compare them because first of all the purposes aren't the same. This was a pilot for a sitcom..comedy.
The O'reilly factor on the other hand is an elaborated scheme presented as independent journalism with a "traditionalist agenda" which is always strangely coincidental with that of the republican party and the GOP.
So, while Hicks was trying to make people laugh exposing the inherent absurdism of war, O'reilly is furthering the propaganda of the present administration.
wongkar 4 years ago 6
I don't think it's at cross purposes to compare given that the formats are different. Hicks' motivation seemed to be the exact same thing; only to by-policy aggressively oppose every agenda of the GOP, therein revealing his own equally transparent agenda.
Besides, O'Reilley makes me laugh more than Hicks. Not intentionally, mind you.
mymentor 4 years ago
O'reillys wants to get someone elected. Of course "he's independent and never sides with anyone." That is the point, while O'reilly is peddling a groups agenda that has real immediate consequences, Hicks is questioning the system. He never sided with a politician in his entire lifetime. His only pursuit was that of a comedian. Of course his comedy is impregnated with his own views, but I would hardly say that his comedy had a political agenda in the true sense of the term.
wongkar 4 years ago
yeah,it is more of total self awareness that he hoped to evoke in his audience, because we're the ones who play along and buy all of the garbage just to exist within this evil Regime Machine we've been born into.accepting this polarized seperation between any faction, religion, governement, race, sex or appearances is just a disease for our greater consciousness that we are all cells of.when people are opposed against each other,it is the equivalent of cancer within this organism, humanity as a whole!

tiberias111 2 years ago
You got more to you than petty insults? Elaborate why do u think I'm so stupid and more than that argue your case because you apparently disagree with me.
tiberias111 2 years ago
All you did was pursue your initial statement with loose, commonplace adjectives that would fit anthing. You didn't point out any real similarity in these two things. Ignorant? No intellectual rigor in this? As far as I know the mayority of "intellectuals" that have preceded and suceeded Hicks have all agreed on the principal that war is the pettiest and most ridiculous stage of human existence. Furthermore, as Hicks puts it, it seems even more senseless in this age to pursue militarism.
wongkar 4 years ago
Well, I agree with this. I hardly think there's too much questioning that war/human conflict isn't a good thing.
But, 'duh'. I hardly see how trotting out this well-worn chestnut is in any way brave, insightful or enlightening. Almost every sane person on the planet accepts this.
mymentor 4 years ago
Well apparently its a well worn chestnut that has not come across to the very un-sane american politicians. That's the critique. If you watch the spectrum of american television it seems pretty brave insightful and elightening to want to talk about this issues instead of what is commonly on the air.
wongkar 4 years ago 5
Narrow-minded? Hicks did mushrooms,yeah....it can't get any more "narrow-minded" than that. Or do you mean something else by "narrow minded". Just let me know.
In conclusion, O'reilly = ignorant, war monger, GOP-suck up, that is feeding americans with government propaganda.
Hicks=man who tried to make people laugh by telling them how ridiculous it is to kill each other and how criminals like Cheney want to keep doing exactly that.
Or: comedian! COMEDIAN!!!
wongkar 4 years ago 5

I'm afraid I don't understand the allusion to drugs here. He did drugs, ergo, he wasn't narrow minded. Are you serious?
My assessment comes from an unflinching and predictable stream of anti-authority rhetoric that made up the entirety of his act. It's so easy to just take pot shots at the usual suspects, which is precisely what Hicks did.
No real understanding of the issues, just loud sloganeering. Just like O'Reilley.
mymentor 4 years ago
Accepting classic doctrine without questioning it. That is the common wisdom about what narrow mindedness means, isn't it? I don't think hallucinatory drugs equate to narrow-mindedness. They expand your appreciation of reality and therefore your questioning of anything you thought was true.
wongkar 4 years ago 3
Predictable? Hicks had to think of delivery and execution. It came across as simple because he could not delve into a complex political on stage-foray, he had to make the crowd laugh. So while O'reillys rhetoric is the epitome of his tought process, Hicks simple punch-line is a dressed down comedic version of his own system of beliefs, which was to my understanding much more complex than O'reillys. That is why people like you and me find O'reilly so involuntarily humorous.
wongkar 4 years ago 7
Quit your rhetoric take 14g of mushroom alone in your room and you will see what mushroom have to do with what Hicks is saying .

Not everything he said was supposed to be bullet-proof arguments.
trnolte 4 years ago 5
His forte was taking a subject one assumed to be taboo and explaining it in a light that took a lot of the stigma away. Like having a word at the tip of your tongue, but you can't get it out, Hicks was capable of doing the equivalent of that, but with ideas at the tip one's conscious. Hicks = very refreshing, very missed.
