He is the finalist for 8x8 for Spain his other rivals are the French and the Italian, but I think that this one is the best. Spain needs between 600-700, I hope that it wins this ñ.ñ

according to the homepage of the Bundeswehr on 03.03.2011, the first 4 Boxers have arrived at the "Jägerbataillon 292" and already been tested including the remotely controlled weapon stations - two with 12,7mm heavy machine gun and two with the 40mm grenade launcher.

Looks like a winner among the widespread development of 8*8 or 6*6 MRAVs , maybe GIAT Vextra comes close ,but PATRIA or MOWAG ("STRYKER") definitely won't reach the Boxer's level

@superwout the stryker(4mio usd. abrams cost the same) is just the most expensive shit on the world. thats why america goes broke, the armed indutry is good at lobby work. it cant never be so armored like the boxer....

the boxer weighs twice than the stryker. you can tell me stupit, but with 17 ton´s the stryker cant be well armored

@gOtze1337 the current price for a Stryker is at around 7 million $ - whilst even the LAW III Kodiak (which the Stryker is based of) has an EMPTY weight of 17 tons. Even the lightest PROTOTYPE of the Stryker weights 18 tons EMPTY, the first series-productive Stryker 20, with Mexas and cage armor 24 and fully combat-ready 26 tons.
