i dont have any issues with slow downs or errors with windows... ive had vista and 7 now, and i use IE. people probably need to stop auto updating like i did, and use a free yahoo mail like i do, with avg free as the anti vi; oh and delete chrome XD. off the shelf rig too, no build.

I've been using Chrome for 2 years and by deleting IE off my machine I got 243 MB more HDD space. Not to mention IE is slow as shit, using an extra 4% of my 8 GB of RAM. A bit excessive, don't you think? As for Chrome popping up all the time, it doesn't. I have never had a popup from Google asking me to update Chrome.

And remember, before Chrome I used IE6 for well beyond 5 years. So before you tell me I don't have experience with IE you can go fuck yourself.

I still use less overall processing power and hard drive space with Chrome. Not to mention I get less toolbars, less useless bullshit, and less hassling from Microsoft about sending errors and signing up for their internet security.

I've had up to 50 active searches on Chrome with no slowdowns or hiccups. IE may be better now but I have no need to switch back, and never will.

Windows 7 is good, or so I find. If I could use Linux or the other older ones, I would. But they're really not made for gaming and their internet browsing isn't as good. Internet explorer, it works for me quite perfectly. Although I do use Google Chrome, it helps.

@koranas1 Sigh, in the song, Dan is complaining about PC. My suggestion was that if HE was unhappy with the PC, maybe he should go to MAC. Now for some reason everyone is taking it as an attack against all PC's. I've used PC's, I like PC's, but my MAC does what i need and use's the programs I like to use. Final Cut Pro, Color, Shake, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, LiveType etc. I edit fast and I use lots of layers, and my computer moves a TB in under 15min.

And YES they CAN be upgraded.

@koranas1 Ok as a Certified Mac Expert let me clarify a few things. Yes Macs are just as upgradable as any PC. Any person can easily pop out the ram and upgrade a Mac as simply as you can with a PC. The Motherboard (Logic board in a Mac) can be removed and replaced, along with the video card, hard drive and processor, however just like a PC only a person who actually knows what they are doing should ever touch it.

I wouldn't trade my 8 hours out of the box without having to downgrade my setting for anything. I've had a PC, had them for years and when my Core2Duo 2GB Mac Mini was out performing my custom Sony Vaio i7 with 6GB, i think the choice was pretty clear.

@ilovejerusalem I've got a macbook pro, 2011. The battery life is around eight hours only when your doing nothing like on the desktop with no programs open, and if the screen brightness is way down and the backlights on the keyboard isn't even turned on.

I do have to say however, my last windows laptop i had the battery life was horrendous, I mean it was probably just a bad laptop but i was lucky to get an hour and half from it.

The same computer in an imac, would cost somewhere in the region of £8000. If you could even get 8 cores, that is.
