Many dogs can recover with crate rest and medications or surgery. Know the signs of disc disease and what you need to do to preserve the spinal cord. My dachshund Bailey was in the same eddies wheels for over 6 years.Unfortunately his back again gave out where the bar goes across the back and could not be operated on so had to be put to sleep.
