  • Хорошая работа )

  • I liked design at 4:50

  • "LIKE A BOSS"

  • How long do these little things burn for?

  • These stoves have "flow" but no pressure. But, that makes them safe to use.

The heat at prime heats the fuel creating vapor flow.

The ignited vapor perpetuates the combustion process, until fuel is consumed, or air is removed.

  • Cool stoves, bad song choice.

  • Why not use another accelerant other than alcohol?

  • thank you for this video i have leaned alot

  • hahaha I tried making one of those stoves today and it exploded, exactly the same thing as the last one

  • Let's touch of this blue fire!

    OUCHHH TOO HURT~!

  • WE Recommended TO WATCH PRESENTATION MULTY BURNING ASTRA X2

  • what kind of alcohol do u use?

  • @TheHarViC2000 In case you still haven't figured it out, ill explain. First, you can use any alcohol. Isoproply should not be used, except for in emergenies, becuse of the high water content leave's soot, and does not burn all the way off. Then you have Ethanol, what you drink. This is not much better in most cases. The two that you really want to use are Denatured (such as SLX, or often sold as paint stripper), but most of us use HEET (in the yellow bottle) I picked some up yesterday for 1.56.

  • @ITReviewer is it around 90 degrees?

  • @TheHarViC2000 I coulden't tell you, but Ive had water boil within 4-5 mins. on average, so id say quite a bit more. If you need anything else, feel free to ask me.

  • @ITReviewer thanks a lot ! :)

  • @TheHarViC2000 No problem, and have a good day.

  • live the seventh stove :D

  • i had to like this just for the song.

  • @Yukoner12b what fule do u use? i use metho and it doesnt burn blue thx

  • how did the last stove explode?

  • Nice job bro . i think the last 1 is best you can still use wood if no alcohol about .

and just a few holes in a soup can . no messing about . 5 *****

  • Wow, you actually inspired me. I'm gonna buy maybe 2 more bottles of alcohol rub?

  • How long will it burn for

  • how long would one burn for ? long enuff to cook some eggs mybe?

  • this happens in russia eh? cold weather and alot of vodka

  • that last one was cool. :D

  • how do you make the large holes in the can? very cool. how do you put the flame out? just wondering

  • Which one works best, weights the least, and efficient?

  • 8:30 that part in the song sounds like the kind that they would put on adult swim

  • Ill never eat a cool meal again thx!:-)

  • does this use like rubbing alchohol

  • @fadugleman @britishrashad of course regular, medical rubbing alcohol :)

  • @fadugleman rubbing alcohol is only 70 percent alcohol, the rest is water and other stuff, which make it a poor fuel choice. Go to the hardware store and buy "denatured alcohol" You can get about a quart for 5 dollars.

  • @MushroomStocker some rubbing alcohol is higher than 70%......but you are right.....denatured is the best. My jet cooker i picked up off ebay says to use only denatured

  • very kool

  • What is the burn time on all the stoves and which ones do you rate most?

  • What type of alcohol did you use??

  • nice! peep mine check my channel for a dirty style alcohol burning stove! mmm budlight

  • 20 STARS**********************************

  • this would look so ghetto if i went to a friends house and he was using this to cook some ramen noodles!!

  • every time i put a pot on my burner it snuffes it out! ( very anoying ) i'vbe left it to heat up and everything. Ant ideas?

  • @martywoodcraft use a pot stand

  • @martywoodcraft put something taller (like another can) around the outside of the stove with some holes in it and set your pot on that. the heat will go hope and should heat the pot without putting out your stove. Just make sure that it has plenty of holes in it can breathe.

  • Dood, You are such an alcohol stove Geek. I sense a kindred spirit. Thanks for sharing.

  • at the end that would be the ultimate alcohol stove cook ing thing awsome stoves

  • i like that

  • Nice stoves. Looks like the ones you made with the holes in the sides burned more like a stove than the others did. Good work!

  • Well done!!! (pun intended)

    Great video, thanks for sharing.

  • Try a 'Penny Stove' they are a treat. I have used one for quite a while now, and its great as one can have a full flame or a simmer. I build mine from the 24oz heini cans, but either size works great. Its the best alcohol stove out there, and easy to make. I have also run my stove using just plain ol' 'Rubbing Alcohol' and it works fine, but not as hot...but at .80$ a quart as opposed to 4.00$ for denatured...I use Denatured, but it's an option if you can't find any in a small town.

  • Ack I spent to much on my trangia. A can of dog food and a coat hanger boils water just as fast... if not faster.

  • What kind of fuel did you use?

  • how come my stoves always have a yellowish flame, the pots dont get all sooted up but the flame is never perfectly blue. how can i rectify it, could it be the quality of the denatured alcohol?

  • @MrPUMPBAG A yellow flame means a cleaner and hotter flame..its better

  • ever try yo put a couple small rocks on the metal coil for a more even burn? just wondering if it would utilise the heat more. anyway, super cool video. peace.

  • whats the first jump up song called?

  • fav.i love that vid keep going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OMG NEVER EVER use the HEET that comes in the RED bottle!!!! Use the one from the yellow bottle, or else buy denatured alcohol in the big metal cans from the hardware store. Remember: Yellow=Caution; RED=NOOOO!!!

If you don;t believe me you can go ahead and blow up your *own* kitchen and singe your *own* eyebrows. Plus, the red stuff leaves an icky residue, whereas the yellow stuff burns clean.

  • what do you feel is the best desing. they all look great

  • ok, i make the ones like your 7th one. except instead the wing nut i use a penny... they call them penny stoves... but i was woundering is it possible to over fill... (beside filling so it leaks he holes...) like will it explode?

  • @MrSuRvIvAlmAn

    yes it will explode...

  • great inventions

  • HEY, WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE MUSIC AT 2:10 ????????

  • Some are really great working design but the question running in my mind the few drops will last for who long (15~30 ±)

  • 19 people think they are watching a Super Mario Clip from how the music sounds.

  • careful with 6th stove.. the design allows too much pressure. thats why they are commonly called "penny" stoves... a penny will allow excess pressure to escape like a pressure cooker. the bolt does not. the extra fumes i saw had bubbled some of the alcohol out in the daylight portion of the film. if u must have more pressure try a nickel.

  • how long does it stay lite

  • these stove work very well...use the 90% or the highest walmarts sells..it cooked a can of spagettio's in 45 seconds..i elk hunt in the back country in wyoming..and i have a stove like this..they are awesome

  • you should have hold the exploding stove!..^^

  • 6:40 I don't get what the twisted wire is for? Heating element?

  • They look trippy in the dark :D

  • LOVE IT !

  • can oi have one mine leaks soo much

  • do you have any how to videos for making the 5th stove?

  • Nice Boy Scout Stove. They work great in a pinch.

  • I love the idea of putting the jets in the middle of the stove so you can use the top to rest your pot on, preventing you from having the hassle of making and carrying around a pot stand. Genius!

  • thanks for sharing all the types of alcohol stoves...

wondering why the last stove exploded... any explanation?

thanks in advance and more power

  • thanks for sharing all the types of alcohol stoves...

wondering why the last stove exploded... any explanation?

thanks in advance and more power

  • is this really realible?

  • Bike chain oil like WD-40 worked really good with me better than alcohol in my opinion

  • they look well pretty in the dark :)

  • Good vid! I had to laugh at the exploding stove that you tacked on at the end of the clip. And that's after 20 years in the London Fire Brigade! Just be careful out there :) Now I'm off to experiment along your lines but not in the house guys! If it can go wrong it will and you don't want to give my colleagues any extra work, do you? I wish I'd accessed Youtube before I went out yesterday and bought a tiny propane burner. These ideas are lighter and cheaper. And more fun! Keep it up.

  • Haha amazing :D

  • Possibly spend a little less on the trendy music and a little more on content. good luck.

  • The dark shots look like UFO's

  • its not led zeppelin

  • theyre ok i guess. Seem a bit dangerously made

  • so, did u burn the T or the W when you burned your letter of water?

  • ahha the last one,explosion

it happened to me too,the whole top cap came off lol :P

  • 10 stars

  • If you have an open stove, never set it on a table, fill it with a lot of alcohol. Light it, then hit it with a baseball bat

  • @MrSkelly7447 WHat does your comment mean?

  • it's a good idea to do this outside, 'cause it will burn your house down

  • how did u make it! and how long does it last?

  • now that's a good research :)

  • what is a pot stand?

  • I like this song.....

  • over primed...

  • i like that color of fire!!

    LoL

  • Fourth stove = Meth cooker

  • wats a desing?????????????

  • use alil bit of gas instead . its more powerful and 1/10th the price.....

  • you can smash up side walk chalk and use a layer of that instead of fiberglass

  • how much money would you want for all of them

  • I tried one today when the power went off, used rubbing alcohol, open chimney type with jets at the top, placed pot directly on stove. Rubbing alcohol (70%) did OK, but not great, was able to heat up a can of beans and pork though. Need bettter fuel and lower design, pot was a little tippy. Even my slapped together one did OK for a first try, now I want to build a better one and get more style points next time.

  • What's a "desing"?

  • It's a band from Italy... I can't believe you've never heard of them...

  • @Skate4Satan I would assume he meant design

  • Why should the can explode if you don't put the screw in? is it a build up of some kind of pressure? I mean if your using alcohol that should not happen, if gasoline the fumes could build up and blow up like that. Just woundering why that happens when you dont put on the screw. My friend and i want to make one, have any suggestions for first timers besides screw in the screw?

  • The Explode is when the Air and Fuel Vapours are at optimal mix inside the can.

Its like 10% Fuel Vapour 90% Air

It only needs flame to make it inside the can to ignite this rich vapours mix and you get a fireball inside the can that will force its way out. 9:26 is what happens when the gas mix hits perfect inside the can and when a flame makes it inside the can due to incomplete burn on the outside (Ie The flame was sucked into the can via the ignited side of the can)

    ... More

  • More cont... The can turns into a very crude Combustion Engine which is why it shot 2 feet across the floor

  • i dont bother with screw. i make 5 pin holes and fill in middle. then put penny over. it wont explode. i have had one "explode" but all it did was pop off fast! put fiberglass inside the can!

  • nice video.

  • This was a well made video. Thanks for posting it. I like the tin can stove the most. It appears it would be the easiest to make.

  • i use gas. its more dangerous but it works 10 x

  • Pretty neat innovation you made with the wire filament.

  • @texaslunkers I missed the point of the wire filament. Was this to help the flames ride higher?

  • mini cocker

  • can you soak toilet paper in alcohol and put it in the stove so it will last longer

    ????

  • no it wont do shit

  • Thank you for this really good video.

  • what kind of alcohol do you use?

  • typically they use Isopropyl rubbing alcohol, or "surgeon's spirit" I think he's using either 70% or 90%

  • I just use gasline antifreeze so whatever that is. Its really easy to get at most stores.

  • @Yukoner12b its called HEET

    in yellow bottle

  • @Yukoner12b I think you mean HEET, which is Isopropyl alcohol.

  • @dapa4

    HEET is Methyl alcohol

  • @driedjello Oh, Sorry. There is two types of HEET one is Methyl and one is isopropyl.

  • @dapa4 Yellow HEET is methanol, red HEET is 2-propanol

  • @1994Juggernaut 2-propanol is isopropyl

  • @dapa4 I know. I posted the comment then realized that someone already said what I was going to say. So sorry for that.

  • @Yukoner12b From what I read Gas Line Anti-freeze is either Methanol or Isopropyl alcohol.

  • @Yukoner12b From what I read Gas Line Anti-freeze is either Methanol or Isopropyl alcohol. I would use methanol because it's made from corn and burns cleaner.... from what I read.. Anyway, nice video!

  • @tarjr94 so how did you gather that the fact that iso. is usually only sold in 70 or 90 in most stores

  • @satansmusic2009 that comment was 5 months ago, plus i've seen isopropyl being sold as low as 50% I probably wasn't thinking when I made the comment

  • you watched it.

  • yeah, I suggest he take up the "hobby" of going onto YouTube and making stupid comments intended to discourage people from thinking freely, being creative, or learning how to do things to improve their knowledge of how the world works.

  • @luccaskunk best comment ever!

  • @luccaskunk

this watching is about survival and learning, not about being an ass and criticizing peoples ideas that are not completely developed yet. that is y you tube is a community...us who are friends will help the others learn to survive...."the strong can help the weak.....and the weak can help the strong"

  • @RedneckSurvival You obviously haven't actually read the comment I was replying to. I was replying to someone who told the person who made this video to "get a hobby". I was essentially lambasting the person for trying to discourage people from learning about survival. So you're basically attacking me for entirely the wrong reason. I SUPPORT the person who made the video here, I support science, I support survival skills. I do NOT support people trying to DISCOURAGE that.

  • @luccaskunk

i apologize, i took your comments the wrong way, i have other youtube accounts and am a victim of severe criticism there so I was on the defensive, again I apologize. This guy makes great vids..that was my point.

  • how long it still lighted?

  • Cool und supernützlich. Grazie!

  • krystle5391 try to heat one and them put them together. It should work

  • How do you put it out? Do you just let it burn out? Also, how much fuel would you use for one use?

  • cool yet simple im gonna make one

  • very nice! I'll make one. thanks to this! 5/5

at 0:10 --> ahh.. lunar surface.. wait, where's neil armstrong? LoL

  • I see you like monster, good choice my friend, good choice, khaos is best I think.

  • Dude how do you get one can inside the other? I cannot for the life of me fit them together

  • k first, watch this video. if it matters that much, watch part 1 too

  • what kinda alcohol is that?

  • methyl alcohol-like gas line antifreeze

  • i liked 6 and 7th stove good work

  • I like the sixth stove, but only if the jets were along the edge of the shiny rim area where it meets the green.

  • I love these stoves If there is a black out in your neighbour u can warm water and cook :D

  • i think the best 1 was the 2nd

  • *3rd

  • i cant put my finger on it but, this video was ... strangly beautiful :) great vid

    keep it up !

    5/5

  • friends,may i know burning duration plz?

  • Alcohol is to be drunk %)

  • Nice Video!

I started building stoves too a few days ago.

U can see my first one in my videos. At moment im building on my second one.

Greetings and keep it up ;)

  • A question about 8 and 9. There are holes in the top and bottom, but wouldn't it be more fuel efficient if there were less holes in the bottom than the top? If there's any wind at all, the heat from the bottom holes will be wasted. I'm no expert on this sort of thing, but if the lower set was moved up, and fewer were made, wouldn't it burn longer and more effectively heat the pan? Just a thought.

  • the lower holes are for air inlet, not for any output, having holes in the bottom and top causes an updraft inside the can as air shoots in the bottom holes, rises, and shoots out the top

  • why do peoplecall it a penny can stove,,whats the penny for

  • the penny covers the fill hole, If the pressure inside the stove gets too high, The penny will lift slightly and let some gas out. If the pressure is correct the oenny wont let it out.

  • 4:17

  • what do you user for the fuel!

  • 70% rubbing alcohol is good but heat works better

  • when i use 70% rubbing alcohol, i have to keep the fire on the priming pan for like 30 seconds before the alcohol can keep itself lit or else it would just go out

  • than use denatured alcohol

  • i make these for home less people to give them something to cook with

  • did you teach them how? lol

  • @wtf2256 thats a good idea to help them out. props for helping the needy =-)

  • Nice job on the side burners, they work well.

  • Dude, you have coppied the cat stove....WOW. Was that petro at the end?
