I sure have. I'm sure you seen the PPG's Beatles' tribute episode, "Meet The Beat Alls". Unfortunately, all the great Cartoon Network shows are gone, including The PPG's, Ed Edd 'n Eddy, Cow and Chicken, and Fosters' Home For Imaginary Friends. The new crop of toons just doesn't stack up to their best.
To show you my warped thinking...I wish DFE would have done a "Grump" episode in Princess Dawn and Terry wind up in a land of talking insects, and the insect that takes Princess Dawn and Terry thru "Bugland" introduces them to "English Beetles" - and these "English Beetels" would be caricatures of, of couse,John, Paul, George and Ringo (circa 1968).
Don't sound warped to me, esepcially considering that they had four Beatles-like vultures pop up at the end of Disney's THE JUNGLE BOOK two years earlier, with one of them voiced by one of the guys from Chad and Jeremy. When one considers how much HCTG was influenced by the YELLOW SUBMARINE movie, that would have been a perfect episode idea.
Oh, yeah! I love all the Beatles references in that episode, including how they spoof John and Yoko, and the "long note" at the end of the episode that's definitely a nod to the very end of "A Day In The Life".
Interestingly, Cartoon Network also showed this episode the day that George Harrison died. Whether it was intentional (as a tribute) or accidental, the timing was very eerie.
Another great one, Francis! Your choices of images (Terry mad at Dawn after being hit with gloom gas In "Sugar And Spite") are perfect, as are the psychedelic FX. Keep 'em coming!
Gerry, you definitely know your "Here Comes the Grump." Once again thank you for the positive comments. If NBC ever brings back "The Apprentice", they should rename it "Here Comes the Trump" lol!
Agreed, Anna. HERE COMES THE GRUMP had heart, sense and humor. Most 'toons these days are just half-hour ads for the newest toys or gadgets. What a shame.

You know, I haven't heard this song for decades! It goes well with your Terry Dexter and Princess Dawn fanvid.
I still think there might be something between them, but that is just me.
Thanks, bender1958.
