I agree with Enersha06. Those who say Thrice have gone soft really need to listen closely to every inch of hardcore in the song. Brand New paled in comparison to Thrice's live performance. They just fuckin rock live. I've always thought this song was about the freedom for writers and implementers of social change to SMOKE POT. But I could be wrong.

dustin is using a vintage 72 telecaster deluxe with variax hardware installed and hes running it threw a line 6 vetta amp and a vox ac30.Teppei is using a jaguar baritone running threw a jcm800 head and ac30 head into a marshall vintage 8x10

what does the variax hardware do, i know line 6 makes that guitar, didnt no there was hardware as well

It alows you to switch between different guitar sounds with a volume style knob. It's just like the line 6 guitar, just installed on a fender instead.
