I think it's one of the trippiest songs ever...it's like this weird jazz meandering through uncharted territory that gets taken over halfway through the track by something even weirder that sounds like some sort of alien transmission from space...I so want to post it on facebook
attended a performance March 5, 2006 in Portland where the encore number was decided by audience shout-outs.........it was my wifes birthday and she shouted loudest and longest for "Non-Alignment Pact" which the band proceeded to play perfectly after not having played it for years........astounding. The place went up for grabs and afterwards David Thomas sat on the stage and sold their new disc to audience members. It was great.

My dad listened to these guys when I was little. I'm twenty three now and I recently downloaded all of Pere Ubus stuff. Very glad I did :)

Saw Pere Ubu in Tiffany's in Glasgow (Scotland) in 1981. They were on the same bill as Gang of four and Delta 5 -a great night!
