  • @Musicianbro113 best comment, ever.

  • my dad just bought an expansion pack and got a plains walker.. neither of us had any idea how to use it (we're used to the "ye olde magic cards")

  • @JBHutto My guess is he learned how to get laid from expert village.

  • Back in my day... We didnt use no fucking tokens. Ice age son! step your game up! lol.

  • your the one watching the video, asshole.

  • how do you know the power nd defense of planeswalker

  • prepare for your video next time! didn't hear the term "loyalty" used either. also for direct damage ruling.

  • an add started during the video how lame

  • Can you use as many counters as you want during a turn? Because if so, than garruk is broke shit.

  • @JamesTheKidx You can only use 1 ability a turn

  • The Planeswalkers come in with Loyalty counters, not tokens. At the time, there were only + and - abilities, but now, there are 0 abilities (Jace TMS and Gideon Jura). Even though a player may be attacking a Planeswalker, the Planeswalker's controller is the defending player. (Ayan attacks Nora's Elspeth with a Goblin Guide. Nora would get the Goblin Guide trigger.). I always like getting asked MtG questions, so if you guys have any questions, I'll be glad to answer them.

  • @topituulensuu thanks alot :3

  • who cares what he looks like,

  • i got Liliana Wes woot

  • This guy is a GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKK!!!! And I say it with the utmost respect.

  • definitely a lvl 90 geek

  • @SanLong88 we might as well say geeks rule the world! I mean, c'mon! we'd be sooo far behind in life without the kinds of things they can do for us! like techno geeks especialy!

  • @YoungJoc95 magicis easy i just started by playing and askign qstions since i was a noob its ok

  • No offense, I play magic too and all and video helped clear things up perfectly but... The fan-fair u got is a little excessive.

And is there a set limit on a creatures P/T?

Like a cap at 9/9 or something? Srry I kinda new...

  • no limit, i'm new too ^_^

  • @Nukeaholic actually 10/10

  • hes freaky + ugly, r all magic guys like that ? :O

  • I used to play in tournaments, there are some attractive, good looking charming guys, but they are the exception, more than the rule. same as anything else I guess, some of us have to be ugly in order to mantain the balance of the world.

  • Hey, I'm a magic player, and girls say I'm charming. Although that takes a lot of years of social/interaction....

    >XP

  • Yep.

  • if any body lives in lima ohio wha is a good spot for friday night magic

  • can you lightning bolt or doomsblade a plainswalker? how about path to exile one?

  • @spendarthegreat you can bolt and burst lightening it since its considered a "player" not a "creature"

  • They considered both players and permanents, so destroy creature effect won't work on them.

  • @spendarthegreat only lightning bolt because planeswalkers arent a creature

  • They're "counters," not "tokens." Yet another guy on Expert Village who has no clue what he's talking about.

  • @esauofrensfal someone has sand in their vag lol

  • @esauofrensfal

"token" isn't a word invented in Magic, it's plain English. Glass beads and coins are tokens and also popular ways of tracking planeswalker loyalty, so there is nothing technically incorrect about his choice of terms. You're just reaching for criticism.

  • @uophire But it is a term in Magic, and clarity is generally important. It's like saying if two legendary permanents with the same name are in play, they're both destroyed. While not incorrect from an English standpoint, it implies you can regenerate from the legend rule, which is patently false.

  • @esauofrensfal He is wearing a DCI judge shirt, which means he is an official tournament judge. Pretty sure he has some clue as to what he is talking about.

  • @esauofrensfal

It doesn't matter what he calls them... People still get the point... Stop putting people off you piece of shit.

  • @Tjc4life2 not to mention he actually said "counters" three times.

  • ...so, how does the abilities work again?

  • ooooooooooh so thats what those numbers ment!

  • How many times can i resolve an abililty every turn?

  • hey jepper511 you can use a planeswalkers ability once each turn. Not once of each ability. One ability each turn.

  • @jepper511 once

  • not tokens but loyalty counters

  • This guy gets mad pussy i bet

  • lmao

  • What is currently the best MTG card right now?

  • okay. so if you have 5 counters on a planeswalker, and you decide to block a 2/2 creature that is attacking, does this make the planeswalker a 5/5 creature? Also, is a planeswalker considered a creature? If an opponent used a card called "terminate' where it destroys target creature, would it be destroyed? or would it not be affected at all? please help

  • These cards are supposed attack like ceatures do. its like bringing someone n to help you.

You dont attack or tap the card that number is the life. AKA it can get killed. for ex they can attack you or the planes walker you can defend with creatures.

  • Planeswalkers are not supposed to attack. They cant attack, they can use their abilities, like they guy said.

  • no. as i see it, planeswalkers are not creatures, they are more treated like a 'player' on a card. if a creature attacks me, and i have 17 life, it doesnt make me a 17/17 creature, eh?

  • OK thank you for your help

  • no, you dont

  • I'm new to magic. can u only play one card a turn and when u attack do u choose wut your attacking and your opponent gets to choose if they want to block it or not plz post back

  • you can do whatever your mana (Lands) add up to and allow you to do, and no, if you attack, youre opponent must decide if they wish to block or not (unless the card says other wise). Flying can only be blocked by another flying creature or if a creature has reach, it can block the flying as well.

  • so u can someone to creatures a turn if u have enough mana? and thank u for your help

  • Yes, you can summon 2, or 12, or 54. It all depends on Mana. (Just joking about the 54 part, that's really freaking hard to do. Sorry.

  • You can Play any number of monsters in one turn as long as you have enough mana for those cards second you are forced to attack the player and he chooses whether or not to attack

  • so you have to attack every turn?

  • No yo don't have to attack but when you do you are forced to attack the player and not the monsters

  • no you don't have 2 attack every turn in magic the gathering plus most cards have summoning sickness which means once you put a creature in play then the next time its your turn you can either attack by turning your card side ways called tapping or keep it untapped for later use to block now if your card has haste you can choose to attack in the first turn its out if you have a xbox360 you can get the magic the gathering game and it will teach you how to play

  • you can only deploy one mana per turn , but you can play as many cards as you want if you have enough mana

  • Omg what has youtube sent me too now.

  • can you counter a planeswalker spell? i mean, you can't like use a remove soul cuz it's no a creature, but since it is a planeswalker i figured you couldn't use a mana leak or spell syphon... can you?

  • Planeswalker is a spell when you play it. You can counter any card except lands and spells that specifically say they can't be countered (or have split second ability).

  • can they attack?

  • no they cant, you can activate their abilities only. one ability during your turn though.

  • "counters.... not tokens... sigh.... " yes there loyalty counters

  • he kinda loooks like a troll .LOL.

  • counters.... not tokens... sigh....

  • hey thanks i never got what planeswalkers were

  • not tokens...counters...loyalty counters..

  • planeswalkers rule

  • OMG! You forgot you can only use the ability once a turn, at sorcery speed, when it has no counters on it you sacrifice it, you didn't properly explain attacking the planeswalker, redirect damage, the 'legend rule'...

This isn't something you can explain in a minute. Friggin' expertvillage

  • so true lol

  • oh thanks i didnt know how to use them lol
