Smashing, haunting song, imo the best one on the excellent 'Yes' album. It's also highly likely that the song's about two guys rather than as depicted in the well-intentioned accompanying video (clips from Starman?) that assumes a heterosexual relationship. Anyone familiar with NY gay scene (I'm not, sorry) might enlighten us about 10th Avenue and Culver City perhaps? Again, a great song and accomplished remix that doesn't destroy the original. Thanks.

@phloralhall Although in the PSBs' audio commentary for the 'Yes' album, Neil Tennant states the song is about "two people", he does also say that they'd originally wanted this to be a duet with Tina Turner. The story begins in the present, then goes into flashback for the middle section. For the final chorus when the characters reunite after living apart (one in NY and the other in Culver City) the second vocal is sung by Carla Marie Williams. It's open to interpretation, like most PSB songs.
