Opening to music, and being really open, being free to having an open identity unfixed...allows you to experience so much more....
I like the idea of it, I've tried it, I've looked for it.
Following that vibration is home. You get home and it says something to you, you follow it, it doesn't have a voice.....then it takes you to the next thing. It's not linear, its abstract, it has space and time, but it is fluid. For myself, music almost resembles Shinto. That abstract fluid magic world,
5:30 - I was on your wave length then John, but the thing is... It's the fact that the person singing it may have an attitude towards life that threatens your own harmony with nature. You cannot agree to liking a song for its sound when the very person singing it does not seem to understand the link he/she has with the fabric of music. I can listen to a song and imagine what that person may be like through the content of that song... It may sound fantastic but it makes me feel awful..
@EducatedHorse12... that blows man.. I learned everyday I went to school because I gave 100% effort. Maybe you should have given the same effort in school as you did while watching these videos... best of luck with whatever...
this clips really good. i totally get where hes coming from when he says he would convince himself that he didnt like a certain type of music because of the people he associated it with.
by "not going to go into that" he meant that he wouldn't discuss the aspect of the mind going from one thing to another and you not being able to stop it, I think he would do a parenthesis on that topic cause he practices meditation and the fundamental aspect of it is for you to be capable of stop that constant thinking flow, then he perceived it in his mind and automatically said he was not gonna enter on that topic because it would step a little out of the documentary purpose. sry 4 my english
1:50 no john, please go into that!

What does he briefly say at 1.50? He seems to be talking to the cameraman but i can' t get what he says...
LulluNatic 10 months ago
@LulluNatic He says "I'm not going to go into that". He's not talking to the cameraman so much as pulling himself back from a topic.
DanEile 10 months ago
@DanEile Thanks, i thought he was sort of asking him to move back because right after the cameraman stepped back.
