This is much closer to the version I've been hearing in my head for years than the one that Evergreen Terrace did. If they just cut the tempo slightly, but not as slow as the Gary Jules version, and dropped the tone to something like the late Type O front-liner Peter Steel might have done, I'd cry tears of joy. When they actually sing the words mad world in this version it's so close to my mind's version.

@AshTProductions I don't think it's really a problem of you being a bad singer. There are a lot of people out there who are a lot worse, believe me. I think you were just trying a little too hard. If you listen to when Gary Jules sings it he sings softly and sadly, almost in a tired sort of way. In fact it almost sounds as if he's just talking. If you were to sing the same way he does it would sound a lot better.
