  • And what type of rod/reels are you guys using?

  • Whats your most productive rig for catching your calicos?

  • Just supscribed, great videos, keep them coming

  • hey i was wondering if you got any tips for fishing the back bay near pch bridge i fish the balboa marina of the docks and i was wondering what should i throw at the will jerk baits work and how should i work the bay

  • @youngfishingboy3333 3 inch Big Hammers are always a good bet. Fish them slow and low right near the pilings and dock lanes. Slow rolling a spinnerbait or War Blade can also be extremely effective!

  • hey Evan, what harbors or places would you recommend to fish for nice spotted bay bass and sand bass

  • @rafasplice222 Newport Harbor is always a good bet! There are productive areas in Long Beach and LA harbor, but most require a boat to access

  • @thebassboyz thanks I'll try Newport

  • Man, am I happy that I don't hav 2 look at the old videos anymore!!!! :)

  • i have a feeling that your going to beat capt jimmy decker n the spotted bay bass tournament

  • @REVOinshore Jimmy Decker is one of the best saltwater bass anglers in the world. He is also a stellar human being who I am happy to call a friend. Jimmy spends more time in the bay than most other SWBA competitors, and he is always considered a front runner in this event.

  • @REVOinshore I met decker in newport while fishing for spotties we caught a couple spottties and halibut and 1 cuda on his dock so it was sick.

Also do you think a 66 quantum energy pt rod medium is heavy enough for calicos and other fish which might bite out of the harbors?

  • beat jimmy decker for me

  • good luck in the spotted bay bass tournament

  • nice video. i wanna try there some day lol anyways man.. what baitcast system was used at 4:00? reel, rod and line??

  • @FishboiFishboi Shimano Curado 300E paired with a Shimano Crucial 711XH. The reel is loaded with 65 lb. Power Pro and I usually fish a 3 ft. 30 - 50 lb. Seaguar Fluoro leader.

  • @thebassboyz

nice. curado 300e can be a bit cost... but im guessing its worth it

  • SICK video guys!! that looks like a lot of fun! It is going to be a good season of fishing this year! See you guys out on the water!

  • Great day of fishing, thanks for the Inox plug (T-Shrit and banner) at the end.. Good job.

  • looks MORE than fun to me : )
