I remember being so happy I got this from my parents for Christmas. I loved running around making sounds shooting my friend in his X-Wing then landing on the USS Flag. Kids these days are missing out on Good Cartoons, Good Toys, and tambark in the playground. This is the reason kids today are pansies!

Shit I had this toy, when I was 7. That was a X-Mas gift :) I had many GI JOE figures.

It was soo big (because I was soo little).

My favorite toy as a kid.. Though the Skystriker advertised was different than the one you get. No black tails, and thinner nose cone. I think the stickers were different too. Still rocks.

Never understood why the wings were open when the landing gear was down and swept back when pulling the wheels up. Seems like it should be the other way.

I still have Ace but I sold the plane when i as 15 and too cool for toys. I had a helluva good time playing with them tho. I had em all my favorite was Storm Shadow and i love the battery powered tank. Knowing's half the battle...

One of the best toys ever built. Authentic detailing, amazing features (swept wings, array of missiles, parts that were easy to remove without breaking, the parachute that always was the first thing to go, etc.), and just plain fun. Ripcord was normally Ace's copilot when we played, though dropping a HALO jumper from a fighter plane seems problematic now that I think about it. lol
