Yeah I live in west frankfort i was in 5th grade i remember going up aganist the lockerss from 1:30-3:15 when we got out!!!! A tree had fallen and was resting just aganist our window at our house!!!!!
Take this little storm and stretch it out for a half a day or more and then you can call it a hurricane : ) As bad as it was, it was brief in comparison to a hurricane.
Lol i remember that storm, it didnt last long here in southwest ky...i just happened to be parked under some trees at the end of the driveway when it hit, i got the hell out of there quick...ive done been through one tornado in Marion, Illinois...i wasnt gonna get caught out in another!

Yeah it was pretty crazy, I live between Duquoin and carbondale, and My neighbors carport blew over his house, was pretty awesome!

I was in school during the time of the storm. We did the whole on the ground, butts in the air, hands over our neck thing.
