Thanks for your video. Piece by piece I gather knowledge about Sweden and its langauge. I really enjoy Sweden channel for its news and exposure of Swedish traditions and social life and channels like Speak Swedish Stupid help me a lot to learn Swedish + it is a good entertainment.
I know (and am trying to impress :P) a girl from Sweden, in Canada. Not with my great sounding Svenska but just cause I even try. N. American English does not make a good range of sounds for picking up your language. Where is your accent from? This girl is from Gotland, and her sounds Finnish/German and she says "can't" kaah-nt (like the doctor: say ahhhh). Will learning any of this make me sound silly? She may presume I'm not getting it right, when in fact I'm hust picking up yout accent.
Bra jobb! I'm favoriting your videos for my young son to watch. We're Swedish American, and I think he'll be able to follow these easily. Tack så mycket =]
thank you very much for these videos! im only 13 and i wanna try to study a lot of languages before i go to college so i can be prepared for language classes i may take and these videos are very helpful! keep up the good work! :)
Swedish vocabulary isn't too difficult for me with my fluency in German, with which a lot of vocabulary is vaguely reminiscent - Stuhl / Stol and Fenster / Fönster - Also, with Swedish, you pretty much know Norwegian too :P
u are right .. the lesson is a bit short but we dont want to give a long list of words to memorize , but few words little by little and about specific subjects.
Thanks for your feedback , we really appreciate it !
Ok I just had a feeling at the end: wow, that was it? But I understand your point of view. In the French and German lessons there are also more words :) I don´t want to bully you, I am just keen on learning swedish and unfortunately, there are very few possibilities on the net, where you can learn for free.
i know it is very difficult to find.. we are trying to work a lot on the grammar to give correct lessons . Moreover he girls are native speakers.
we wil try to do better next time , a bit longer at least .. thanks for the comment , are really important for us in order to improve the quality ... :) next time more words !!!
one way that could help is get a swedish pen pal, i know it sounds silly, but it can really help if you go to a penpal website and find one who is willing to help you even the slightest..
If you marry me I'm assured that I would learn Sweden better.

Swedish vocabulary is easy. Swedish grammar is very easy. The hardest thing about learning Swedish is the pronunciation.
