some people have lost people to cancer and just know how it feels to lose someone close i alomost lost my mom to cancer when i was 5 and nerver understood why she couldn't play and why she never had enough energy. So some people just know how it feels. This song makes me sad too. I am soo glad to have my mom and to people who say whatever you need to get a hear.

In the 70's, I wasn't an ABBA fan. And I resisted going to the B'way show and movie while in theatres. I was coerced into watching this film with my 27 year old daughter and 3 year old gr'dau. I have to say I loved the film, and cried copious tears during this song, hugging both of my girls. I seen Mama Mia twice since then, and like it even more than the first time.The whole cast is wonderful.

Now I'm a parent of my own two children, I realise that it was just they were so caught up in life and keeping it together. This scene made me bawl as I know I missed out on my son growing up.
