I saw Carol Lynley in the western - The Last Sunset - angelic face, beautiful , amazing child/teenager.

I remember being absolutely MESMERIZED as a young boy when seeing her for the first time in 1963's "Under The Yum Yum Tree".......I had almost no idea what was going on in the movie, but couldn't tear myself away from watching it once I had fallen under her 'spell'.....

I think what makes her so beautiful and sexy is that she pulls it off with such a fresh and natural look. Elizabeth Montgomery, Tuesday Weld among others also did this. The trouble with a lot of todays actresses is that they look old and used up before their time. Most of them look a lot a like because they pick an actress with a body part they also want and then they tend to use the same small group of plastic surgeons.

That's a matter of opinion. I think she WAS one of the worst actesses of all time. For example, I think she was one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood at one time, but I know people who don't think she was so great-looking. Yes, I did say that "on purpose" because that it is a valid statement. If you bothered to follow the conversation from the beginning, you would have seen that all I did was post my opinion about Carol Lynley. I didn't call anyone names, and I didn't call Miss Linley names. Then some IDIOT who disagreed with me, started insulting me and calling me names simply because he did not agree with what I wrote. In my book, that makes him an IDIOT who can't politely disagree with another's opinion.

Isn't it funny how some people can't take another person's differing opinion without resorting to name-calling? That's usually what stupid people do, which would explain why you think Carol Lynley was "one of the all time greatest" actresses. She was, in fact, a beautiful woman. As an actress, she was a joke. Beautiful actress! I first saw her in "Poseidon"(I'm 44),& then tried to watch every other film she did(The Cardinal/Shuttered Room/Bunney Lake Missing, etc). Was a little sad to see her interviews on the special-edition Poseidon Adventure disc- she's let herself go somewhat in looks(sob).
