Full 30 min video has been released. It CLEARLY shows the baggies coming from the person in the vehicle. The driver and passenger are pulled out, the officer finds the baggies on the person, then puts them in his pocket. He pulls it out of his pocket to compare it with another baggie he sees in the cab.

It's so common where I live with this one officer that if you go to court and say that he was your arresting officer and that he planted evidence on you they just dismiss it. My question is, as always, where did they get the drugs they planted from in the first place?

The cop clearly pulled the bag out of his pocket before ducking into the car. If in fact he obtained the drugs off the person and placed it in his pocket, why is he then taking it back out of his poket and entering the car again. He also flagged the other cop to leave before doing so.

Our founding fathers used the excuse that African and Native American slaves did not worship or know of the bible to justify slavery. getting rid of most cops actually wouldn't be a bad idea only if we took the money we spend on cops, the judicial system and jails and spent it on education, combating poverty & health care. i think that would prevent way more crimes than our current system.

Just a few nights ago there was a story on the Seattle local TV news about how a local defense attorney is being sued by the Seattle police for trying to obtain dash cam videos under the Freedom of Information Act. Cops in this town have recently been censured by the Justice Department for a consistent pattern of excessive force that violates the law and the Constitution. Now it seems the Seattle police are going to extreme measures to hide any evidence of that.
Authorities say they believe viewing the full video shows what happened prior to the clip that has made its way around the internet, including \what they say is the officers pulling those drugs from the vehicle's occupants before going back to the car.

Our founding fathers used the excuse that African and Native American slaves did not worship or know of the bible to justify slavery. Race is convenient but, most of the poor people in our country are white and often taught to be racist. In prisons they do this on purpose so that prisoners don't unite.

Don't get me wrong. Law enforcement is extremely important - and extremely necessary.
However, I think a lot police officers join the force for the wrong reasons. Corrupt police do a lot more damage to society than normal criminals. We trust these people, we give them authority... It only takes one corrupt officer to plant drugs in some poor guys car - Essentially ruining someone's life.

Just a few nights ago there was a story on the Seattle local TV news about how a local defense attorney is being sued by the Seattle police for trying to obtain dash cam videos under the Freedom of Information Act. Cops in this town have recently been censured by the Justice Department for a consistent pattern of excessive force that violates the law and the Constitution. Now it seems the Seattle police are going to extreme measures to hide any evidence of that.

@Kiribayashi cops are humans and humans are corruptible. Giving any one person that much power can often result in conflict and an almost devotion to the forces that give them that power. They don't actually have quotas,per se it's trickier verbiage
