I like Anvil a lot, growing up in Toronto and Scarborough ive met them a few times, even had them in my studio, but i hate to say, the reason they dont catch on and get famous is cause theyre lyrics are crap. I'm a blues player and if I put my guitar in drop C and do a lot of palm muting, I can play Lamb of God or Shadows Fall without any effort.

My guess (could be wrong) is that you don't play an instrument and so you wouldn't know what drop C is or palm muting. That's fine, it's a good excuse for your ignorance of real music.
