What offset are you running on your wheels? I did this swap and with the stock wheels the inside of the wheel rubs my upper a-arm before it hits the stopper. I'm running Lonestar +2+1 sport arms with 04 450r brakes...thanks!
@screamingdemon My current setup is 4-1 wheels on Laeger +1 arms. From pictures, it looks like the Lonestar could be wider on top, however this is the first I've heard of any fit issues.
i know that the 53521-HP1-600 are for the 06+ 450r's and er's and the 53521-HP1-000 is for the 04-05 450rs... the 04-05 are supost to be alittle more sporty and wider thats why the -000 are longer
@gbaby22112 None of the 250R or 400EX hubs fit the 450R spindles. You have to get the 450R hubs. Fortunately, these dropped in price so you might check servicehondadotcom and see what they're running for. I believe the brake rotors are all the same for the 250R, 400EX, and 450R, BUT, the BOLTS that hold the brake rotors to the hubs are different on the 450R vs the 250R. Good luck!
I have the 400ex conversions on my two 250Rs, and the 400ex brakes are inferior, they're only single piston calipers, the 400ex spindles are aluminum though. I run the 400ex calipers on one of my Rs, the other has the caliper adapters so I can use dual piston 250R calipers.
