hindu mathmetics use to use an empty space instead of zero,when arabs came to india they saw it and invented a symbol and called it "sifr" which getting to greek and rome became zero in the tounges of different nations...so i would say zero is invented by arab muslims...but the idea of "zero" was invented by hindus..see every body should accept truth..
