You are so right that a legend was born by a mere chance...travelling on the same day at the same time, in the same train and same compartment as Saleem Jilani...It seems Reshman's fate was working overtime, guiding her carefully at every step to ensure that the journey continued unhindered which was to seal a new future for her...rest is history. @passion689 Passion ji i just wanna correct one thing Reshman used these trains EVERYDAY and get into each compartment to sing and asked for some money like we all seen and called them GADWI WALI and got into the compartment where gillani sahib was sitting and hit the jackpot and as you said then rest is history.

@passion689 Passion ji you are right about both worlds,The other world is one of the sweetest girl on the planet and one of my all time best video girl. Other khalid composed this with using beautiful instruments and made it LAZAWAAL and it will be unfair if i don't mention the gentleman who wrote beautiful lines for us.

Ghazal was penned by SALEEM GILANI sahib who brought many big names in music world including his discovery of RESHMAN.

@passion689 One more thing about saleem gillani sahib, he was chairman of pakistan broadcasting corporation and great poet and composer too. He passed away few years back and he is the one who met Reshman on train route to karachi while she was singing as a gipssy girl and gave her his visiting card and asked her to come at radio station to meet her and the rest we all know that legend was born.

The first few seconds of a song create an impact whether it is going to be a good song or not. That is how I assess a song. It is like the impact of a good Ghazal is created by its Matla'a. The flute intorduction and the words Dheema, Dheema and Acha Laga establish the Ghazal's quality. The Murki at the word Laga whlie leaving the couplet's second line is outstanding. Other minor beauties of 'Adaaigi' of words play their role well. The change in the 3rd Antra is interesting. Credit to Khalid.

@nrkamath43211 The flute was played by the best artist in Lahore named: Baqar Hussain, Top-class skilled and inspired artist. As composer, i only told him the selection of notes and the movement, on Harmonium during a short rehearsal. He played in 02 short *Takes*. Since, rhythm started after his performance, so the balance, can also be appreciated. cheecheepia did the best work Khalid Asghar (20 April 2010)
