Fun level to play.. It took me couple of tries to kill him "smoothly." I tried shooting him as he was being executed and I got spotted lol. Turned I had to switch the pistol lol

you can also dress up as the shooter and wait for the cue and shoot him yourself with the real pistol and get away with it HAHA!

my favorite way is to steal the key to the top room once i get the rifle with a scope that zooms in more and is steadier. you have to wait until the perfect time to do it. then you just drop your rifle and watch for the other guy to fall under the light and blow it up. then walk out like you own the joint. easy silent assassin.

That's exactly where they got that mission from. The play they are preforming is Tosca, and you can hear them playing this same song during the rehearsal.

Wow. That executioner was a nasty piece of work indeed.

But contrary to the other commenter I don't think there is any difference whatsoever between an execution and cold-blooded murder. Especially in a modern setting (i.e. in a time where death penalty isn't used anymore in most civilised countries) there's no wrong in pointing that out.
