@Candydufus6 No need for that, using Ae is pretty simple, unless you dont know how to use it..., just configure your comp settings into a size of an HD comp(1280x720 or 1920x1080), then make your layers fit to it, after editing, you can now render your project, choose your desire format and settings, and your done, upload it on youtube in a normal way, then your video is now on HD.. :) (HD videos are big files, that means, it takes a lot of time to render and upload)..

Mine STILL isn't full screen. When i put the video onto windows live movie maker it doesn't show up full screen with the aspect 16:9 And when i upload it in 1080p it still isn't showing up fullscreen

If anyone is having trouble with windows live movie maker, remember to set it at a 16:9 aspect ratio in edit, but you already knew that :P

@TheSMRXCorp That's for old movie maker for xp. Windows Live Movie Maker for Vista and 7 actually has an option to export it to 1080p HD. If you only want 720p only in Live edition, make a custom profile.

@TheSMRXCorp Well of course because 1920x1080 HD (1080p for short) is 16:9 widescreen. For example, you want to export the video in 16:9 Aspect Ratio but the resolution is 1280x800 which is 16:10 widescreen, it won't work because the video is 16:10 not 16:9. But if you use 16:9 with the resolution of 1280x720 (720p), it will work because 720p is 16:9

@legooreostudios It's easy, I have vista too. When you click "Publish Movie" keep clicking Next until you get to More Settings and select

"Windows Media HD 1080p (7.8Mbps)" for full 1080p epicness! Or "Windows Media HD 720p (5.9Mbps)" for a slightly less video quailty, but it will finish publishing faster. Hope this helps.

@jonathankim1999 After effects doesn't have a feature to upload to YouTube, you should click on composition>add to render queue and the you select the right template and make sure everything is ok and then render (as VideoCopilot suggests a good format is the QuickTime movie)

@vasplarz If you are talking about Windows Movie Maker then there IS an option to publish your movie in HD in Windows Vista. Simply go to File>Publish Movie. From the "Choose settings for your movie" dialog box, click on More Settings and select Windows Media HD 720p or 1080p, which ever you want, then save your movie.

What about Premier Pro? Since it's so similar to Final Cut Pro I guess you thought that it didn't need another tutorial, but I tend to have issues with Adobe Media Encoder; specifically when I export a quicktime movie and there's no sound :O

also make sure you uncheck maintain aspect ratio in the properties of all your fottage
