If they see you around, and they're with another girl, they'll probably start talking about Guys they think are attractive, or possibly someone who asked them out, to make it seem like You're running out of time before someone else takes her.

There was this Spanish test a while ago. I went to the room where we had to meet up I noticed this shy but good looking girl standing near me. I was talking to this dude of her class while she suddenly turned her face towards me (she had her back towards me at first) and asked for a pen. could this mean she wanted to build up a conversation but was too shy? I asked her some basic things but her replies were rather short.

Hi, Im a bit of a shy guy & I think that a shy girl at work likes me. Sometimes I catch her looking at me. She also smiles & blushes at me. The other day at a meeting I was quite surprised when she walked up to me & sat on my face. I was a little embarressed but flattered by this gesture. In class, for an assignment, partnered up, a girl....
Dressed in all red (Valentines Day)
Calls out my name in an abnormal way
gestures me to go to her (we were partnered up)
shows me a picture of her cat with her cellphone, saying "my kitty" in a giddy, but cute way (cat was related to the assignment topic)
goes to the restroom with her hair previously tied up and comes back with it down (she always had it tied everytime before)

#4 looking in the eyes.... females in general looks into peoples eyes/at people's eyes when talking to them, so this makes it difficult. Heck, my teachers do it too. All girls I talk to even if it's just them asking a question about something, looks at my eyes and as a guy, it's a little uncomfortable, so I tend to look away.
#5 I had a girl who did that... too bad she has a boyfriend. I actually had my hopes up. =( lol
