  • I have driven a many drag car doing wheelstands but never one that did it at the finish line. Easy to say just watching the video but he should of stayed out of it after it came down the first time. Only fools wish crashes on these guys. They work hard to build these cars. Those who laugh and make jokes I guarantee you have never driven a high powered drag car.

  • I know, I get it! These classes can't run a wheelie bar. My response is STILL, "What's the fucking point of trying to make things more difficult whilst trying to get THIS MUCH (often turboed) horsepower to the ground?" Be it smallish drag radials, no wheelie bar rules or 1/8mile tracks for 7 & 8sec. 1/4mile cars, what are they trying to do - MAKE guys bend-up their shit? I grew up around my dad's 7.90 @ 175 mph front engine dragster. Small block/alcohol injected. Trust me, IT had a wheelie bar!

  • This is why I think Outlaw 10.5 is the BEST class. ALOT of POWER on a small tire. it can be very entertaining. thumbs up to the guys who run this class or one relative. glad the driver was OK....

  • I watched several videos of this guy before this crash and he lifted and hammered back into it in every single one . Anybody that has and seat time in a real drag car with this much horsepower knows that once you unload the suspension you do NOT get back on the throttle or you are justy asking for didsaster ! Should've lifted and stayed out of it until he got the suspension corrected . How many passes do you need to make to realize the car has issues with suspension ?

  • I became concerned when the rod pulled it's second wheelie at 150 , then the hurdling of the jersey barrier, a big puff of dust, hollywood style and the screen is covered with a cloud of dust, wow, then we see a wheel shooting 30 feet in the air! Now thats gonna leave a mark. I hope Wilber walked it off.

NMRAdigital did a report on dennis bailey saying his rear is a 4 link or ladder bar. so why would they let a outlaw 10.5 car run with the drag radial cars when the outlaw 10.5 cars does not fit drag radial standards. Also why would they let a car with slicks run against a car with drag radials, DONT YOU THINK THATS WHY THIS CLASS IS CALLED DRAG RADIAL

  • @SUPERFIEEDMaN I know all about the chassis specs, but im telling you... HE WAS RUNNING A 10.5" SLICK!! If you watch the Dennis Bailey Mustang Crash vid in the suggestions to the right.... That is a 10.5 slick on that car! Not to mention back before Steve Grebeck died at Orlando in a 10.5 spec car, he would occasionally put radials on the car and run the radial class.

In the class he was running the rules stated: "You must run a 315 drag radial or true 10.5 tire no W's or Hoosier TT5 W's". Its basically a class for the big tire radial cars vs the 10.5 slick tire cars!

  • Don't ever set your flow over and above intake pressure. This will allow the traction masters to automatically set, thus eliminating the risk of blow carbon flip oxide.  Otherwords, set clutch, main headers and tran lock for deeper control of throttle guide.

  • @masterrickt you idiot thats because youre leaving in boost...when youre on the trans break it will spool the turbo. If you launched the car without foot braking or using the trans brake then you wouldnt be in boost until the turbo spooled. And this guy was using anti lag and a trans brake so he left under boost...all 10.5 outlaw cars run both of those. The car lifted due to weighing practically nothing and wind getting trapped underneath it....it isnt "the turbos" as dude said.
