hey man! your guitar lessons are very helpful. can u give me an advice on how to improve my right and left hand speed? and how should i hold the pick so that it wouldn't touch the other strings?? i suck but i really want to improve.

thats one of the worst sweeping techniques i've ever seen... dude you not muting properly and your not gliding the pick up and down in a SWEEPING motion, this is just fast picking.
im just getting in to sweeps sooooo.....all arpeggios are in standard tuning if not they will probably tell you...last part of your comment doesnt make sense so im not really gettin ur drift
Hey man could I make a suggestion? Try and add something of Children of Bodom's Alexi Laiho, sweeping or tapping techniques, you'll get allot of visitors
Think of it as an arpeggio run in the key of Am. It would sound more melodic if I added different arpeggios to the end of it, depending on the chord progression it follows. The point of this lesson was to show how the sweeps would be in one key going up the neck. Its worth learning if you don't know it yet because it applies to all keys. But don't worry, I'll be making lots more arpeggio lessons soon and they'll have great melody!!
No, I meant, my comment would be too long to describe what I was talking about. I'm just saying this lesson just gave me a lot to think about musically. To try to elaborate on that would fill up more than what's allowed on here.

Great lesson, but the melodie wasn't the best... Making me not wanna learn it.
I hope you can make another sweep picking for beginners - as this - but with a better melodic? :)
Matheus222 2 years ago
these are appeggios, which are a type of scale so there not always the greatest melodies
